I cannot stress enough how glad I am that I bought this. My car key fell apart in my hand and was completely broken. I was looking at £140 replacement but someone suggested I try buying a replacement shell. It arrived really quickly and at first looked daunting to transfer the key contents but it was quite easy. The fiddly bit was getting the pin out of the key but other than that- no problems. My key is good as new and is even better than the original. I was even able to take the Citroen label out of the old one and add it on for the perfect finish. Absolutely recommend this.

Product is good but extremely fiddly pin installation. DO NOT LOOSE the pin when switching the key blade. You will need a small hammer, grips, small nail etc. Bit I’ve saved £135.00 by not purchasing a replacement key so we’ll worth the hour you will struggle with the key.

A great Little replacement. Easy to fit as long as you order the right one!! Lots of reviews saying it doesn't fit their key have just ordered the wrong one. They fob works very well. Edit: spring system has broken after a couple months use, that said, same happened with my peugeot original key so a design flaw somewhere but replace without issue by the seller. Great service.

I bought this hoping to use it to fix my broken Peugeot 307 key. All I ended up with was two broken keys. My own and this one. Once disassembled it's next to impossible to get your metal key piece into the new body. If you can get it in, it won't snap open and shut correctly. There are tiny pieces and a spring that are very hard to put back together. Otherwise, this seems quite well-made. It's just next to impossible to build the working bits into your existing broken key. Also, doesn't include any instructions. Not easy to assemble, disassemble.

Just what I needed did the job for spare car key

Great replacement for my 207 key. The spring had gone on the original, so with a little effort swapped over the internals and the cut key- held in by a small pin. Suggest to work on a desk or similar to avoid losing the pin

The first one sent was the wrong item, but returned to Amazon and a correct one was received. Once it arrived it was just a matter of moving the chip from the old key case to the new case and moving the key over, that was the fiddly part, but it was done and it works perfectly. Very impressed.

If you want to copy your key in it, it doesnt work! The key parts are not equal to the orginal key!!! So only but this when you can actually get your key out of the old one to place in the new one!!!
