Excellent tv
Very easy to set up and use. We like the feature where you can set up subtitles or take them off from the controller. Picture and sound is excellent on hi and uhd. Was not expensive to buy on Amazon either, especially considering the quality of the product.

Not a great TV
I bought this TV to replace a Samsung. perhaps I should have stayed with them. I only use my TV to watch streaming i.e. no live TV. This TV comes with streaming apps already installed. I can't see a way to take those I don't want off i.e. anything by the BBC. The TV is slow to 'boot up' and I regularly have to turn it on and off several times as it is so slow to connect to WiFi. It is not possible to open UKTV Play directly as there is no app for it, which is a shame. However, it is available through the Freeplay app. That being said after a month or so this failed to work and I had to get in touch with Philips who, after some tooing and froing, sent me some instructions and a link to a dedicated software update. Fortunately I am computer literate and have access to laptops and USB's etc. However, those who cannot find their way around a computer would have huge problems doing this. I have elderly relatives and friends who would find this impossible. This TV is not Android which gives it particular limits. One such limit is that you cannot get NOWTV on it without using a firestick or other external device. There are probably many other apps you cannot get. If I were to be in the position to buy a TV again, based on my recent experience, I would not buy this TV.

Ho aspettato un po' a fare la recensione, dopo un anno ha iniziato a dare problemi, non trova i canali non si connette all' antenna su blocca x cercare Netflix o altre piattaforme. Da ieri non sta acceso... Speriamo nella garanzia altrimenti 400€ buttati ..

Ne pas acheter ma TV était garantie jusqu'au 8 mars 2025 et aujourd'hui le 8 février 2026 est elle tombee en panne comme par hasard. Quelque chose à cramé à l'intérieur pendant que je la regardais. Ça sens le brûlé pas rassurant. Ça fait cher pour - 3 ans. Je ne recommande pas d'acheter cette TV. Perte d'argent assuré!!!

Als Warehousedeal-Rückläufer vergleichsweise günstig bekommen, für den Vollpreis (800-900EUR) würde ich ihn wohl zurückschicken. Die Software ist langsam - nach dem Einschalten dauert es etwa 10s bis ein Bild kommt, dann erst weitere 20-30s später kann man die Apps (z.B. Netflix) öffnen. Bei der Netflix App muss man bei jedem Start das aktuelle Profil neu auswählen, Disney+ gibt es garnicht. Also recht eingeschränkt. Zudem ist die Sender Sortierung grausam - man muss sie als Favoriten hinzufügen und kann die normale Senderliste nicht sortieren. Es wird bei der Kanalübersicht auch nicht die jeweils laufende Sendung angezeigt sondern erst beim Umschalten auf den jeweiligen Kanal. Das bin ich vom vorherigen Hisense besser gewohnt. Die Programmübersicht (was läuft aktuell wo) ist langsam und nicht vollständig, man sieht nur einen Bruchteil der laufenden Sendungen. Der Ton ist in Ordnung, das Bild hat bei schwarzen Szenen Lichthöfe - ist aus meiner Sicht für diese Preisklasse jedoch normal bzw. nicht anders üblich. Die Anzahl der Eingangskanäle ist für uns ausreichend, die Fernbedienung könnte gerne hochwertiger sein. Für die Bildoptimierung gibt es etliche Einstellmöglichkeiten, Anschlüsse sind auf der Rückseite auch zahlreich vorhanden. Einen Schalter zum Display abschalten, damit der Ton weiterläuft (beispielsweise zum Radio / Musik hören), gibt es nicht - muss umständlich über das Menü gemacht werden. Bisher gab es schon 2 Softwareupdates, was sich dort verbessert haben soll ist nirgends zu finden und festgestellt haben wir auch nichts. Aus meiner Sicht ein durchschnittliches Gerät.
