This is the espresso used in every decent Italian restaurant coast-to-coast. It is the original and it shows. The flavor is outstanding, layers of coffee and chocolate with beautiful intensity.If you love espresso there is no other than Illy.

I purchased this espresso as I was looking for an upgrade from Starbucks Espresso bean. I recently purchased an espresso machine and am slowing learning the art of pulling the perfect shot. Essentially, it all starts with the espresso bean and the grind size. I was happy to see the grind of this particular bean to be fine, which is just the right consistency for the machine. I brewed a double shot and was pretty impressed with the aroma and flavor of the espresso. It almost tasted like chocolate, and didn't have the burnt coffee smell that other brands have. Overall, I was very impressed with this bean and look forward to trying other flavors from Illy.

I placed an order for 6 packs of Illy Coffee (250g each) on 3/6/2024, they were delivered on 3/12/2024. To my surprise, the expiration date is also 3/2024 (at the bottom of each can). How can I finish 6 cans of coffee in less than 20 days? The items are not returnable. I even had a hard time to find the review page.

The seller did not describe that the product is almost expired and in a bad condition. When you open the jar the gas should comes out. This gas in the jar for freshness and safety. When I open the jar there was no gas at all and the smell of coffee was terrible.The seller is not honest at all. Beware of this seller.
