This is how BMW should have made the car.
Simply put, this is what BMW should have put in the car in the first place. It looks like it belongs. I found it a little fiddle to install, but still only took me 2 minutes. Once you get it to snap in nicely, it doesn’t move or snap back out. Highly recommended.

Great little accessory!
Installed today in my '23 M550i. Mine arrived with just a couple mild scratches on it. Polished them out easily with some finishing polish and a microfiber towel. Installation was a breeze, and took no more than a minute. Fits perfectly, looks OEM, and does a great job of keeping dust and junk out of the recessed shifter area. This was a must for an OCD car owner like me.

If you're a perfectionist or don't appreciate spending $20 for defective/scratched up products, I highly don’t recommend. Bought this for my G30 after seeing the reviews.... first one was scratched. Ordered a replacement, same thing if not worse. Returned both.

Perfect blended fit and feel
I’m usually skeptical of these things but truly finished the center console armrest area. Why bmw wouldn’t do this in the first place surprises me. It’s a small detail but for those of us who care trust me this is the finishing touch
