I have used this for the first time this past weekend and the color changing worked! As a child of the 80s I was prepared for it not to just like glow in the dark things. I also appreciate that it states it is dishwasher safe so there isn't a guessing game.

Really cute graphic but the very first time I washed it it flaked off the cup completely. Ihandwashed it in Dawn dish soap and rised in cold water. The graphic immediately started flaking off and by the time it dried in the dish rack there was nothing left but a couple of spots. So disappointing. I can't even return it because I don't have the original mfr box it came in anymore. Hubby recycled it, not knowing this would happen so also losing the money. Don't but this mug!

I like the cup very much and I use it for coffee. However, the silhouettes came of in the dishwasher. I did not see that warning in the advertisement.

Bought this for a friend who was recovering from surgery. She loved it !!!

The mug is adorable! I ordered two as raffle prizes at my book launch party, since the book has a color-changing cat in it! But the boxes the mugs arrived in were very creased and damaged - not such a nice look for giving as a prize. I think both the packer/shipper and the seller are at fault. The mug needs a sturdier box and the shipper needs to be more careful.

I really loved this product. I loved the color changing kitty and everything. However, it says it is dishwasher safe. It is in fact NOT dishwasher safe. When I pulled it out of the dishwasher it had melted and was flaking away the little decal. I recommend that you hand wash this. It's a really cute cup or at least it was until all the decals washed away. Do not trust what it says about being dishwasher safe. It is not dishwasher safe. I hate giving it such a low review because it is a nice cup but the telling people it's dishwasher safe and that it not being dishwasher safe is not okay.
