Mud

I bought this book because of the title. Running forest school sessions for our reception class, I wanted to inspire the children to enjoy playing with mud and encourage them to go wild. The illustrations are lovely although the American text let it down as a teaching aid. Ended up rewording to suit.

Roughly one sentence per page with fantastic pictures. Would be good to link to messy play at home or in the classroom

Pictures are lovely but the book quality feels very cheap with thin pages.

A wonderful excuse for playing in the mud!
