Test it before install...
When you first get this product, just set it on The counter and shine the lasers on your ceiling. Every time you walk by check the laser output. I bought three of these for our three car garage and a one laser on one item failed. Amazon gladly exchanged the bad item for a new one. When I set up the new one for a test, one of the others had a laser failure. Now I've got to exchange that one. How long will these last? I have no faith any of them all last more than a year.
