When I lost the original hotshoe cover to my camera I didn't bother with a genuine Olympus one as all original equipment manufacturer (OEM) versions cost silly money.So instead I bought a far cheaper off-brand model. The fit and finish appeared to be fine, so when I lost the next cover on another body I bought that model again. But after just a few months where they just sat protectively in my hotshoes as I rarely use on-camera flashguns, they both got too loose to be effective, and the reason was because the two small lightly-sprung plastic arms on each side of those covers are not very durable. They broke and the covers fell out.These covers are different as they're made of a solid rubber compound. So they naturally sit in the hotshoe by friction alone with no parts to fatigue or break. As they're a nice tight fit they may also be expected to offer greater moisture resistance to the hotshoe.As you get 12 of them, keep the unused ones somewhere cool and dark. That way if the ones you're using harden with age and loose grip, or just get lost, then the remaining ones will not have suffered much in the way of age related deterioration and certainly won't have any degradation due to heat and sunlight.I deliberately haven't mentioned the little bubble levels in each cover. They're a nice touch, but they're unlikely to be accurate enough in all applications to be of genuine use. Buy them because they're very good covers and are better than the OEM ones, and just consider the bubble levels as a free bonus which might be useful if your camera does not offer camera level displays.

Making sure your photographs are level is important. My camera has a built in electronic level indicator but it is not easy to use if you have the camera low down for example. These hot show bubble levels are a neat solution. I have purchased a single one in the past, but these are small and I lost it while using a speedlight. When I saw this pack of 12 for a decent price I went for it. These are goo quality and are a tight enough fit that they should not work loose.

I went through them and 6 seemed good and 6 misaligned. (I might have been unlucky of course.) I'm not sending them back as 6 will do for now, plus another pack would most likely be similar, but I'll probably pick another brand next time (well, look for another original manufacturer, so a product that looks a little different).Flipped and flopped between 2 and 3 stars, but the working ones seem to be what I want so it's 3.P.S. Buying these as the one I was using disappeared, presumably pushed off when putting the camera in its quite close-fitting bag (as I've seen that happen before, but caught it).

I continually put my new camera hotshoe cover in a safe place, then can't find it/them. This pack of 12 well made covers is tremendous value. They slip on and off with ease and maintain the weatherpfoofing of my Sony A7R4 and Olympus EM1X. They are a little bulkier than the original covers and therfore a lot easier to find.

I got a set of these thinking they wouldn't be worth it but that not the case. All 12 came witch in its self was surprising since you can only find 3 of these for the same price. they are made from rubber and the fit was really tight on my sony a6000. This means they wont come off easily. I have see other reviews where the bubble capsule fell out but you have 12 of these thing so it isn't so bad.all in all a really good product and would definitely recommend.

Does the Job well of covering the hot shoe, and giving an indication if the camera is level. They are slightly tight to fit, but also means that they are less likely to get lost as happens with the plastic ones when you get the camera out of the rucsack or pocket in the case of the X100. Good value for the price

I bought these to protect the hotshoe on my Canon R5 and 5DMKII. they fit great. It could be just slightly bigger to cover the entire medal but overall happy with them and I have a bunch of spares or give a few to friends

Muy sencilla y fácil de colocar en el soporte del flash de la cámara, aunque también se le puede dar uso para asegurarnos que otros dispositivos están colocados a nivel. Execelente relación calidad/precio.

S'emboîte bien dans la griffe flash norme ISO de mon appareil. Le revêtement anti dérapant fait qu'il reste bien en place. Le niveau fait le job, même s'il est beaucoup moins précis que celui situé sur ma rotule de trépied. Ca peut aider si vous n'avez rien de mieux pour faire le niveau, mais ce n'est pas pour cela que je l'avais acheté à la base.
