I brought this to make my own food warmers and it works perfectly.

It’s basically as advertised but if you are looking for some heavy insulation I prefer the thick stuff you can get for homes from home depo. Pretty thin and not a lot in the roll.

Blocks out the sun. It's thin which is what I needed for a project.

Note to Self,Cost is more often than not, an a equivalant of quality (I forgot). I found this product easy to cut, but lacking in virtually all other areas. An UNFORUNATE thumbs 👇.

I recently performed a long distance move. I needed a lot of packing materials to keep my belongings intact. Using this item between dinner plates and other breakables allowed me to have a successful move with no breakage. There is some of the foil left on the roll and I look forward to finding out how well it's insulating qualities are.

I’ve been looking for a thin reflective insulation to cover my meat smoker to better control temperature fluctuations and thought this roll insulation just might accomplish that task, but found it doesn’t have the capability.The description of this item spoke of aluminum and pearl cotton, both of which I believed would stand up to the moderately elevated temperatures of a smoker. Upon examining the product, I ascertained it was a plastic film with a thin vacuum deposited metallic coating on a plastic foam substrate. I found no sign of any sort of cotton material.I did test a corner of the insulation using a heat gun on the lowest setting. The insulation immediately curled up and shrunk significantly. I followed that test by submitting a small piece to open flame and found it completely burned without leaving any visible aluminum.Surely this insulating sheet will have uses in lower temperature applications such as window coverings.

This is a rather small roll for the price, but overall it worked great for what I wanted it for. I make candles and need to have insulated cooling boxes that make the candle wax cool slowly. I lined several boxes with this foam, and it was very easy to measure and cut, it cut straight and it was also easy to adhere to a box with tape. It doesn't really wrinkle, it's a great thickness. i would buy more for smaller projects, but not sure how far this one roll would go for a larger project.

this is a good roll of insulation foam. it is reflective and quite thin. it was perfect for my needs. i used it to cover the exhaust hose from a portable air conditioner. with it being thin it was very easy to maneuver around the hose. I can definitely tell a difference too after installing it.
