Wanted a small but stylish kitchen scale.Super easy to use and clean.Would recommend

These scales are great for using every day to weigh general ingredients. They are easy to use and don’t take up much space in the cupboard.

Great little scale, only trouble is the display being on the top. Its very difficult to read the display when using something larger than a breakfast bowl to weigh in.

I like it

I had great difficulty sorting out the battery holder, thinking it needed to be unscrewed. Try as I might this was impossible. Then I realised that maybe the plastic insert needed to be removed. This was stuck fast too but I managed it. Heaven help me when the battery needs replacing. Built in obsolescence? There was nothing in the instructions leaflet to guide me

I am thrilled with my scales. They arrived in Amazon's usual excellent time and well packaged too. The scales are so easy to use - the display is clear and I have no doubt very accurate. I love that you can weigh solids as well as liquids and that you can add ingredients without having to weigh them individually. They are so slim they take up no room in a drawer. All in all a great product which I would thoroughly recommend.

I actually bought these scales 15 months ago and didn't want to write a harsh review without giving it a fair chance for me to get used to it. I am now buying a replacement as they drive me mad, wasting so much time. The touch-buttons are terrible, sometimes just freezing so that you can't change the function or zero it. You then struggle to power it off and have to start all over. And, to make matters worse, the buttons are not easy to access (especially if you have any length to your fingernails) when you place the scales on a worktop - which of course is fairly essential to the weighing process. Terrible when you're rushing in the kitchen. I need them every day to weigh dog food, using the zero a lot, and would say that at least every other day they throw a wobbly. as well as that, because the whole thing is flat, you can't place anything on the scale that has a base larger than it - you just get a 'computer says no'. My previous digital scales were 20 years old and far superior in all these respects. You'd think a name like Salter could do better.

Use it for baking and it is very easy to use.
