LIGHTS ARE AMAZING BUT SWITCHES ARE LOW QUALITY
For reference I originally had 18 of these lights in my garage/workshop. I had them running 2 sets of 8 on 2 separate switches, and a set of 2 on 1 switch. The switches are plugged into an outlet in the garage.I have been using them for around 6 weeks at this point. I use them daily for several hours. The first thing to know is that the lights themselves exceeded my expectations for the brightness and functionality. For what I purchased the lights to do, my opinion is that expectations are beyond what I was hoping.Installation: I installed the lights running front to back in 4 lines of 4 each. I also installed 2 above one of my workbenches and attached them to the underside of the shelf on the workbench. I used the included hardware other than changing the mounting screws out for longer screws so they would be more secure. I was able to mount all the lights into the cross beams running in the ceiling of the garage so that I would not have to worry about anchor issues. If I were going to use anchors, I would not have used the supplied anchors. I would recommend upgrading to self-drilling drywall anchors. There are a plethora to choose from on Amazon but just for reference, this is what I am referencing:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F2WMCP2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Here are some little hints for installation made easier if you are installing the lights end to end as I did using the included 1 inch union.• I lined up one end to the other using a simple nail and string to help me keep the line straight. (a nail at each end and the string from end to end.) However, I highly recommend you install your first light then attach and hold the second light in place, mark the location, and install the second light and so on until you are finished with that row. On my first string of 4 I originally marked the brackets off along the string and installed both brackets for all 4 lights. Big mistake as the slightest amount off caused aggravation. Note that if you are using the included longer union cord, then this will not be an issue. The only reason I did not give these lights 5 stars. ***The switches. The switches are cheap. I mean really cheap.*** Note the included pictures of failed switches where the rocker melted. One switch is melted to where it would not move. The other switch is melted up and will no longer touch the contact, thus it is just loose. You are basically rolling the dice on the end result of the malfunction. After I installed the lights, within a week, I noticed that one of the switches was making a crackling noise and was hot to touch. I watched them all closely after this and never left the lights on without being in the garage. A day later the switch failed. I had extra so replaced it and just wrote it off to 1 bad switch in the batch. Less than a week later, same thing. Ugh…..So I wrote to Barrina via email and explained. No response so I went through amazon messaging and finally got a response. They agreed to replace the 2 switches. I got those switches in the mail. However, by the time I received them a third switch had failed. However, the replacement switches are EXACTLY the same as the originals. The only string of lights I trust at this point to not cause these switches to fail are the ones with just 2 lights on the string. I have not had them fail on that string. You may have better luck having 4 lights on the switch, but I do not desire to have 5 separate switches for the garage lighting varying in length from 15 to 30 ft depending on where I choose to plug them in. My solution was to purchase higher quality switches and just replace the cheap, and in my opinion, useless, switches with the higher quality switches. This gives me the ability to now link 16 lights on one switch and also have the peace of mind that the switch will not burn up and cause a fire if I am not in the garage when the lights are on. Here is a link to the switches I purchased from Amazon. They are installed and functioning like a champ. I love that I now have all the lights on one switch!!!! They were only about 13.00 for 10 switches so not that big of a deal. But still adds to the cost if you are comparing based on price.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XPN8PL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1To summarize:• The lights are amazing. I highly recommend them, even with the given switch problem.• They function exactly as described, if not better.• Installation is simple. Just remember what I mentioned in my tip to keep them aligned in a long string.• Switches are cheap and I would not put more then 2 lights on them at a time. Thus, you may want to include the cost of purchasing higher quality switches into your budget, if that is an issue. Click on the included link above for the switches I purchased.

Mostly great, but not in ALL environments
Placed these lights in the half-finished basement and the garage in West Ohio.GOOD: All lights are bright and quick to come on and off. Lightweight and easy to install with many options. All are on smart switches and only see minimal usage. The basement lights are great and I continue to use them.BAD: The garage lights, however, slowly all failed between 5-7 months. All of them. The garage is an uninsulated garage that is protected from extreme heat by a gable fan, so no temps over and estimated 90F.I would buy these again, but only under the caveat that I would be using them indoors only.

These Lights Are Terrific
I'm a car guy. I have a 2 car garage, and I use it to actually store 2 cars. It's not a storage area, it's not a gym it's a garage. In addition to the 2 cars I have shelves with automotive stuff, tools, fluids etc. I have a work bench. Then I have the other stuff, 2 bicycles, a couple of kayaks and various sports equipment. When I moved in about 20 years ago I installed 3 of the typical 4 ft.-2 fluorescent fixtures in the ceiling to supplement the 2 ceiling bulbs that came with the house. The lighting was obviously better but still sucked. I have a lift in my garage and I do routine maintenance and it's still tough to see well while working on the cars. Over the past few years I've been looking at LED's but the more I looked the more confused I got and essentially it was paralysis by analysis. This past week I decided OK, enough is enough. I need more light. I looked at bunch of Youtubes and these lights kept popping up in different reviews and they were very positive. So, I ordered 12 of these. I figured after all these years of working in crappy light there's no such thing as too much light. These showed up very quickly.I was amazed how light a box of 12 of these was. Then I was amazed how lightweight each bulb was. Quite honestly my 1st impression was this quality must suck. The little mounting brackets that hold the bulbs in place look like they would not hold a Q-tip in place.Anyway, I screw in the 1 little screw that holds each of the mounting bracket in place & I snap the bulb in. The bulb snaps in perfectly and securely. I then attach the power cord and plug that in and holy crap-let there be light. The 1 bulb was amazing. What's really nice about these is that you can run these bulbs in a straight line directly connected to one another and or you can use the 4ft wire that enables you to also connect additional bulbs. You can run I think it said as many as 6 bulbs off of 1 power cord. I put 6 of these up so they form a perfect rectangle over the perimeter of the car that would be on the lift. I put 2 over my work bench and 2 above the 2nd car. The last 2 I put in the unfinished part of my finished basement that I use to store car parts and my race tires. Although I had bulbs and fluorescents there, these give off way more light and a better quality light. And the entire time I was mounting these I did not drop 1 bulb until I said to myself I can't believe I have not dropped any bulbs-sure enough I got cocky & careless and dropped 1 from an 8ft ladder. I figured, OK it's done but I have 11 more. To my amazement it was not damaged and worked perfectly. Now I had slack in some of the wires up on the ceiling. So, I get my trusty staple gun and said to myself-don't put the staple through the wire-sure enough 1st staple dead center through the wire-but the lamp still worked. Next one, I said to myself OK, I already screwed up 1 and got lucky it still worked-next staple another perfect shot through the wire and the bulb still worked. I did remove both of these staples and finally got the hang of not stapling through the wires. All I can say is these things work as advertised. Incredibly easy to install, give off tremendous light. Time will tell about their longevity but 1st impressions are you won't be disappointed by these.I had both my cars outside while doing this and it was late morning early afternoon. One of my neighbors was passing by as I was opening the garage door to put the cars back-he came over and asked if I was doing surgery in there. he said he could not believe the light coming out of my garage.

The best solution for LED strip lighting.
These lights are a fantastic product. these budget friendly lights are easy to install, either plug in or hard wired, for a multitude of configurations. The lights are bright and durable and the slim design makes it blend in seamlessly in garages, closets, cabinets, and I've even used them in my crawl space.

Great Lights!
The lights are actually extremely bright for how cheap they are! The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is for the toggle switch they come with. I've had 2 go out but in all reality that's still not bad for the price!

Good Lights
These are pretty decent lights for the cost. I’ve put up a ton of different light fixtures in my day and these are definitely on the cheaper end. They’re about as good as a keyless light socket and a 9w led bulb. So that being said you make the choice. I’ve had led bulbs last 10 plus years, I don’t if these will have the same life. That’s my honest opinion on these lights, put all 12 up in a shop and work bench area. We’ll see

Great product with very short cables for hard wiring.
I received and installed the 12 shop lights a few weeks ago, and it’s all worked out extremely well. The lights appear to be very well made with aluminum backing. The clips for mounting worked very well, as did the hardware and cables to link individual lights together. For my shop, I needed to go with the hard wiring option rather than using the outlet cables that came with the kit. The cables provided for hard wiring were 6 inches long. In fairness, the seller did provide that information. I knew it would be a challenge to use such short wires, but I decided to buy the product anyway. The result of using such short wires means that the junction boxes have to but up against the lights. If the wires were longer, that would have given the option to tuck the junction boxes out of sight for a cleaner looking installation. So my only feedback to the seller is that 12 inch wire harnesses for hard wiring would have made the installation a lot easing and the end result would have looked cleaner. I would have been willing to pay a little extra for the option of longer wire harnesses for hard wiring the product. The product, however is as advertised and so far is working very much as expected. I would definitely recommend this product. Great value for the money.

Bright, Inexpensive, Great Value
Purchased the 12 pack of these lights. As others have mentioned the hardwire leads that come with the kit are only 6" long or so so they have to be extended. Luckily I had an old extension cord I cut up to do that. The downside to this is it makes the install look a little bit less clean. If the hardwire leads were as long as the daisy-chain connectors it would have been able to do everything I needed.Install is easy. Screw the clips to the ceiling and clip the light in. The screws provided are philips head and suck. The clips are quite thin but do the job. These weigh next to nothing so there will never be an issue with the screws pulling out or clips breaking.Overall EXTREMELY pleased with this package. Great value and the amount of light the 12 of them put off is staggering. Completely transforms my garage. Would definitely purchase again.
