Excellent flash cards!Each card contains the character, its pinyin, translation, character component, radical, one example sentence and four example variations with other characters (incl. their pinyin and English versions) on one side and the character, the way it is written step by step and the variations in characters on the other.The only thing Im missing is the traditional version of the character.The box contains 350 cards and a brochure.Material is soft, but firm enough to carry cards around.Delivery in the UK within a few days, perfect quality.

These cards have been brilliant as I tacked mock HSK papers. Highly recommend them.

Chinese in a Flash - Volume 1, 2, 3 and 4As an additional tool to learn Mandarin Chinese characters these flashcards are excellent made and very easy in use. Each volume offers 448 character flash cards and 1792 compounds words.On each individual flashcard you can find on the front side:- Large print of the character- Stroke order- Four possible (and frequently used) words using that character- A card number for easy ordering and traceabilityOn each individual flashcard you can find on the back side:- Smaller print of the character (with pinyin and translation)- Radical- Character component- Example of using that character in a phrase (with pinyin and translation)- The four words using that character - as printed on the front side (with pinyin and translation)- The card numberThe 4 volumes offer in total 1792 characters and about 7168 words.Each volume has also a booklet that allows you to search on pinyin, character or translation. Volume 1 starts with more frequently used words and the volumes built up on that. All are printed in easy to read fonts by the way.This is a really great tool for the serious student of Mandarin Chinese. Great designed and superb in use!

The product itself is great. But for this and the previous set of Tuttle flash cards the CD promised was/were not delivered.

J'ai commandé les 3 séries pour m'assurer la progression de cette langue...comme toutes les langues, il y a un défi avec nous-même....la première serie est pour débutant....la deuxième un niveau moyen....et la 3ième pour avoir le plaisir de comprendre et de l'écrire...( je suis beaucoup plus intéressé à la formation de l'idiogramme ) c'est comme un dessin ...le son ne m'intéresse pas, car j'ai un handicap de sourdité depuis la naissance..Merci. Les flashcards sont absolument parfait et détaillé, ce sont vraiment les meilleurs que j'ai pu trouver ! Je recommande grandement à tous ceux qui apprennent le chinois et j'achète directement sans hésitation tout les autres volumes.En tant qu'étudiante dans la langue Chinoise, je suis extrêmement satisfait de ces cartes et de leurs précisions.Points positifs :- Les caractères/cartes sont numéroté et on a un livré qui les récapitules, pratique quand on a d'autres version de flashcards pour voir ceux qui nous manques entre cette versions et les autres.- Le coté face : Détails de l'ordre de l'écriture des traits du caractère en question, des exemples de mots avec ce caractère, une précision si le caractère est un caractère à utilisé avec d'autre caractères- Au dos : Le pinyin et la signification du caractère, la précision sur sont radical et composant qui sont très utile pour apprendre facilement et le chercher dans un dictionnaire, une phrase d'exemple pour l'utilisation du caractère en question et la signification des mots d'exemple du coté face.- Il y a le caractère traditionnel en plus du simplifier ce qui est un très bon point pour ceux qui veulent notamment aller à Taïwan par exemple.- Les cartes ont un troue afin de les assembler ensemble soit par son propre moyen soit avec l'anneau vendu avec- Il y un CD inclusNeutre :- Les cartes sont écrites entièrement en bleuPoints négatifs :- Les cartes sont très fine et soupe, ce qui les rends assez fragile, une version plus cartonné aurait été préférable, mais il suffit juste de faire attention, et pour l'utilisation ce n'est pas très problématique.- Les cartes très nombreuse ne rentre pas toutes "correctement" sur l'anneau, le rendu est étranges, mais on peut largement faire sans.
