For some reason my dog walks way better on this leash. I had a way thinner lead before and he was out of control, but with this leash I can keep him by my side and we can walk at a good pace together without him stopping to smell every two steps. I highly recommend trying this one. The clip is high quality too and attaches easily to his harness. For reference I have a 23lb medium size dog.

This replaces a worn leash - Took time to find a leash that was not too wide, soft enough to not cause problems for the arthritis in my hands, light padded loop handle, and one that I could knot a loop closer to the dog for more control when crossing streets. I wanted to be able to loop it where I wanted it not have it built into the leash and this allows that. I love this leash and will buy more. Too many I looked at were too wide or a rough fabric. Prcie was good enough to where I bought two. This is great!

The leash seems strong enough, but the handle was definitely not padded. I use another brand on my older dog, and it is padded. I had to switch & use this new one on my older dog, since she doesn't pull, and put the old one on my younger 70 lb shepherd, who does pull. The leash is fine for small or older dogs, just not for young or big dogs, especially when they see a cat.

Update -almost 7 months have passed leash has healed up on my small11 pound dog it has now started to unravel and paint is chipping on all its metal.I hope my review helps some oneDog weight - 11poundsBread- poochonLeash can be seen at nightLight weightLong enough but not too longI have a small dog but I have walked big dogs and honestly the small dog leashes are terrible there thin and slip of my hand i do not trust it I don’t like them I have bin trying to find a wide leash for a while my dog wears a small collar and it clips on to it perfectly. I wish they made wide dog collars for small dogs my dog has a lot of fur around her neck a small thin collar dose not accommodate it to sit comfortably around her neck a size up is way to big sadly.But I will be buying more leashes for from this company.

It’s a standard 6ft leash, nothing too fancy. However, it’s durable and withstands the puppy teething phase. I originally purchased back in August of 2023 for my 8 week old Norwegian Elkhound. I am finally having to replace it at 11 months old! It stood the test of time and teeth, and otherwise never wore down. A fantastic small investment for a lifetime (in dog years) of use. Will continue to repurchase in the future.
