Converting a Ram ProMaster cargo van into RV and running into winter in the Ottawa valley Canada as the cold goes down to -16C. I am testing with thermal camera and various insulation products. Clear winner is Abahub on interior exposed metal, then Thinsulate roll insulation on top of it with 3M adhesive. I will apply this approach to the top 50% of the van where the heat and moisture is much higher. Lower 50% of van is R5 foam board, many cans of spray foam and Roxul mineral wool stuffed into crevices. I recommend this approach to anyone doing van conversions for year round use.

I used it to insulate my wheel well in my van and it work perfectly and so easy to cut and mold to the form you have to cover

I didn’t have any of the problems that previous users talked about. The paper comes off easily. The product forms and STICKS. I put it inside the engine cover (doghouse) on my class A RV. Don’t know why the factory didn’t put any in. The noise level and heat transfer were ridiculous. I haven’t left on the next road trip yet to actually see how it stays on and works as I hope.
