Very happy to recommend this led spotlight. I have two sets of lights in my kitchen one is a 4 bulb spotlight and the other is a 2 bulb spotlight. The 4 bulb one is in the main part of the kitchen and the lights are set towards the working areas, the one aimed at my cooker and work surface area was just not emitting a strong enough light so when i saw this bulb offered to test i snapped it up.The light it projects is fantastic, it is a bright cool white/daylight light and really does make the working area feel more opened up. I have under cupboard lights which i always needed to have on because the previous bulb just did not project enough light to work in, now i don't need my under cupboard lights on until night time.This bulb does exactly as it says on the box, it is not the cheapest bulb but if you have a light fitting with a spotlight to give you an extra boost of light then replacing just that one bulb is really worth it.

This reflector LED light is very bright (80w equivalent) and is cool white so is sharp and bright. It is well suited to a kitchen or bathroom where you want really bright light to work. I think it might be too sharp a light in a bedroom or living room where a warm white might work better for mood lighting. It was easy to fit and like all LED's the light is steady and the bulb runs cool, so much safer to my mind than halogens. Hoping it lasts a long time.

LED's have very much become the standard for light bulbs over the last couple of years and for good reason too - they are so much cheaper to run than conventional bulbs and last so much longer too. For example, this bulb uses 6.9W of power and has a stated light output of 575 lumens. To achieve a similar light output from a halogen bulb, you would need a bulb with a power rating of 80W. As such, this bulb will save 73.1W of power for every hour of runtime.If it is assumed that electricity costs about 18p per unit (kW/h), this means that this LED bulb will save about 1.32p for every hour it is used. Whilst this might seem tiny, it very quickly mounts up i.e. £13.16 over the course of a year (assuming 1000 hours of use per year), at which rate, the bulb should last 15 years. Accordingly, the initial investment of this bulb should be very quickly recouped and very quickly provide significant savings.As mentioned, this bulb is equivalent to a 80W halogen bulb and as such, it is very bright, but quite focused and so only lights up a very defined area. It is exactly the same size as a regular halogen bulb and as such, it should be suitable as a like for like replacement in most circumstances.One consideration which is relevant to LED bulbs which wouldn't have been relevant to tungsten bulbs is the colour temperature. There are broadly three main colour temperatures which LED bulbs are produced in, these being 2700K (warm white), 4000K (cool white) and 6500K (daylight white). This particular bulb has a colour temperature of 4000K (warm white) and personally, is slightly cooler than I would like but not impossible to live with.As a final point, whilst in use, the bulb remains reasonably cool to the touch and given that heat is probably the biggest cause of premature failure in LEDs, this provides reasonably confidence that the 15,000 hour lifespan should be achievable. Clearly, this is not something which I can confirm as yet (otherwise my review wouldn't be available for quite a number of years).

There is not an awful lot i can say about a light bulb but this one is perfect for my nail room as it is a bright white which is great as i had warm white bulb in and was struggling to see even in the day. I have a spotlight pointed down on my table and this bulb is great. I will purchase more of these in the future as i think the item is priced well. Very happy

Great product. Fits the adapter. So far has lasted. When you first feel it, the build quality is noticeably less than others on the market but for the price this product is great and does the job.

Got these to replace burnt out bulbs in the kitchen. Great cool lighting.These are not noticeably different from any other GU10 bulbs in our kitchen, the visible side of the bulbs having a metallic effect rather than the white casing on our other bulbs, but these are absolutely grand, good lighting from them, so no reason not to recommend fully.Will update review if there are any longevity issues.

What can I say, it replaces current bulb, being LED it costs less to run, won't burn you if you touch it whilst its on & its a very bright, clean light.
