Karcher 2.880-990.0 Pack of 5 Replacement O-Rings

read up on these , and a lot of people were moaning about being ripped off , and i just cannot see it, Karcher are a quality product and have been for many years and when my machine's seals needed replacing i would not want anybody else's rubber on my washer, so it made sense karcher seals for karcher products . they fitted in minutes and is back to full power.

My old pressure washer was ‘pulsing’ when the power was switched on. (You will know what I mean if yours is doing it). The joint where the wand hose is screw connected to the machine body started to leak. This Karcher ‘O’ ring pack (all one size) did the job. It took longer to carefully remove a ring from the pack than it did to slip it onto the hose coupler

My more than 15 year old 411A Karcher washer lance hose lost an O-ring and another on the extension hose was badly cracked. My preference to fix things over buying an entirely new kit drove me to hunt down the dimensions of the rings without success. Found these branded ones and hoped they would still be a fit for my ancient washer. Thankfuly they fitted and the washer is performing very well. They arrived in perfect condition and promptly. My only grumble is that they are effectively a pound each which is way over the top when you consider unbranded multipacks of hundreds of assorted O-rings can obtained for a similar price. I was going to go that route but there was always that risk the size wanted would not be among them. It looks to me that they are 10mm internal, 14mm external or put another way, 10mm x2mm (thickness). Its then a question of the type of material. O well, maybe next time.

My attempts to use other rings of apparently the same size were unsuccessful - slightly too thick. I managed OK (still some drips) with a smaller ring until these arrived, but these are the perfect fit. Can't understand why it costs so much for such a small bit of rubber, but 5 should last me a good few years, I hope.

Bought from Karcher Center Chemtec via Amazon these O-rings came on a proper Karcher card and are the correct part for the junction between the high pressure hose and the pressure washer body in my ageing model. So it was easy to fit one and my pressure washer is working once more. These are much cheaper on Amazon than another website where I looked initially.

The connector to the high pressure unit kept blowing off, no matter how tight the connector was screwed on. On inspection the "O" ring seal on the hose had split. I replaced the seal with one of these and now working perfectly. I now have a few spares in the shed, all good!.
