Walking much better control with this, but she didn’t like it at first

I really like these headcollars. They seem to be more comfortable for the dogs than others (they don't tighten on muzzle and they don't ride into their eyes) while still working to stop pulling. With these on both of my dogs, I feel confident walking nearly 50 kg of dog and not getting pulled in the direction of the nearest squirrel.The only thing is I'm not convinced by the sizes of head collars. I ordered a size medium for my 30kg GSD X Northern inuit. There's no size guide on amazon but elsewhere it suggests the following sizes (see bottom of review). Which would mean a L or XL for this dog. I have previously had a HALTI in size medium (halti size 2) for this dog so I wasn't convinced as the head of a Labrador is much larger than the head of a GSD even for the same weight. In the end I decided to go for the medium again, and it fits perfectly. I used the HALTI neck size guide to guess the size of our 18kg rescue dog which was a small (halti size 1), and again it fits perfectly. This possibly isn't the best size guide as it's for a different product and the important size is the muzzle not the neck but for me, it's much better than the Ancol sizing.I've attached pictures of the 18kg rescue in both small and large head collars. Her muzzle is 20 cm with her mouth closed. The small head collar is up to 26 cm which gives her room to open her mouth with no problems. The medium head collar is 33 cm round the muzzle. The back of this collar can tighten to her head size, and the little leather tab can reduce the muzzle size so it fits. Is the best one I've found so far ,but metal clip has snapped already.This is the issue with most of these nose harness with strong big dogs.How ever it is the best one I've had so far which does work great love the clasp that slides up works much better than the clip ones.My dog on this nose harness tugs less and I'm in control.

Every dog is different but mine didn't feel comfortable with it.

I bought this in small size for my jack Russell x who is just under 10kg in weight. Before this, I used a harness (with the lead attachment ring on the back) which was meant to deter pulling but it didn't make any difference. I can honestly say that this has made all the difference and my dog no longer pulls when I take her for a walk. As well as pulling on the lead, my dog also behaves very badly if she sees any other dogs/cats/horses/you name it, she has a go at it, but this also curbs her bad behaviour and keeps it to a minimum. She isn't very keen on having it put on and she does scrape her head along the grass every now and then trying to get it off when we are out walking (meaning she does come home with a muddy face sometimes) but I think this is a small price to pay for a much better behaved dog. She did manage to get it off her muzzle once in the first few days of using it, but that was because she was desperate to go after a cat. However, I had also attached it to her harness with the extra strap so she was unable to get away completely and this has not happened since. We have now been using it every day for 6 weeks and I feel a lot more confident and in control and find walking her a lot more enjoyable. I'm sure if I gave my dog the choice, she would prefer not to have to wear it, but I would not be without it now and will continue to use it every day. I will even be buying another one so I have one ready in case this breaks or wears out as I cannot contemplate taking her out without it.

It is slightly tighter than the old one which was another manufacturer and was beginning to fray at the joints. My dog hates other dogs and is now much easier to control because it is slightly tighter and more instantly grabs his attention and it has the benefit of a strap going from the Halter to his colar which would hold him back if it ever came off somehow like the old one did one time. Would recommend as it has held up well so far.

Useless.,.....Dog has to be trained to use it. ....and irony is if the dog is trained then u don't need to have it......it is a trauma for the dog about if you force him to wear it.....he will keep trying to remove it with his paws rather than taking a walk with u .

Product is good but the description is misleading. I have a spaniel which is a small breed. When I received the product it, I realised there are 9 different sizes. The one I received is size 2 which is small for a spaniel as per the discription on the photo attached. No where in the discription it was mentioned and the product is non returnable. Please put the complete discription as it's misleading customers
