A+ for the sun shade sail B- for the cords
The Ankuka sun shade sail is excellent quality, sturdy yet easy to handle. The corners are reinforced with strong D rings at each corner. I am using it to "shade" my yard and inside from a neighbor's overly-intense security lighting; it is in amongst trees and hedges. So, the forest green is a perfect shade to camouflage the shade. It would be super great if Ankuka provided matching cords to attach the sun sail. I am not fond of the white cords; they stand out starkly. And perhaps more heavy duty cords. The sun shade sail itself: A+

Too Water Resistant
We love the quality of shade from this item, but because it is so heavily water resistant, it ends up holding water in the event of rain. We set it up with a low point for the water to run off, but the shape of it creates a little pool in the middle which is super problematic. We still love it and would buy it again. We simply have to take it down before it rains.

Functional Shade
It’s hot here in CA! And it’s only May! I was desperate for shade and spent some weeks trying to figure out if I want to use an umbrella or a pergola. I was looking for something easy to put up and cost effective. At the last minute, I noticed these are cheap and easy to put up. For $40! And it’s supposedly rain proof, too!I used a kit with ratchet winches and wire extensions to attach it to my roof line and to my existing fence posts. It was hard to make it perfectly taut / tight. I think the shade sails are more aesthetically pleasing if they are taut / super tight. But it looks ok now. There is minimal slack and I now feel like my patio is a living room.

Cannot recommend
This shade is pieced down the middle. The seam does not stretch as much as the fabric on either side of the seam. The side seams act the same in that they dont stretch either. There is no way to pull this sail tight enough to stop it from pooling water on either side of the center seam. Waste of money amd time.

Sturdy and well made sun shade
I bought this to replace a Bimini top on our pontoon boat until we can get a new canvas one made. At first I was sceptical because the fabric seemed more “nylon” than I expected. However I found it to be a pretty heavy duty material that should hold up to strong winds and hot sun on the water.

Terrible sail shade
Item was not like they described. It sagged from the the initial install. No matter how tight or what angle we used. And once it rained it got incredibly worse. I waited too long to return it so because I was hoping we could make it work but that never happened. Now I’m out $50 and no sun shade 😩

A few negatives but overall does the job it needs to do
I initially installed it wrong because the instructions aren't clear on how much of a dip you should have, so the sail would flap around ferociously in the wind and I am 5ft5 and the lower bit was touching my head. The instructions are naff. The string it comes with is pathetic and should come with hammock straps, not shoe lace.Because the sail is so big (4 x 3) it could do with an extra support in the middle so it doesn't dip but its not the end of the world, ever since I adjusted it, it's a lot more secure and doesn't flap so much in the wind.Another issue is because I got black, it blocks the kitchen window so I don't get any natural light anymore. Not really an issue of the sail but maybe don't get black if you are putting it above a window and possibly get a light colour. You probably could do with 2 people to help you, but I did it myself. Apart from those negatives, this is a really fantastic sail that keeps me protected from the sun and I can Still enjoy the heat 🌞. It serves its purpose which is most important 😀

More use than just the garden
I bought this to replace the awning cover on my campervan. It fits perfectly. Much lighter in weight than the original material I used. Just need it to rain to check how waterproof it is.

Voile d'ombrage
Bonjour, voile d'ombrage de très bonne qualité. Une résistance très costaud lors de la pose et pour la tendre.Très content de cet achat posé sous une ancienne armature de tonnelle. Bonne fin de journée.

Allow for provided ropes to stretch
Been up nearly 2 days and so far so good .. stayed up through a storm but will hold rain water I have made a lower anchor point on one corner so it can drain its self and be raised for the sunny weather ... so far so good but when installing with the ropes provided please bare in mind that they will stretch a little within first 24 hours or so in slight wind so you will need to re tension them accordingly..
