These wooden squares are very nice. I paint them and decoupage napkins onto them. The wood is dry and takes in a lot of paint would be the only fault. They do not stand on their own as they are less than an inch thick.

Used for encaustic painting, stayed flat even when heated wax was applied. Great quality for the price and quantity.

It’s still a good deal, but annoying that anywhere from 1-3 of the boards are duds. I had to toss 4 out of the 2 sets I got because the wood was jacked up/peeling off and I couldn’t use them. You can see that I tried to paint get them/fix them anyway before I realized it wasn’t going to work.

These were such a great value and overall seem to be pretty free of imperfections or knots or chips. I think these will work great for some of my smaller wood burning projects.

I bought these for spin painting because of the size and price but the cost goes way up when a 60% of them aren’t good. Three out of the five I’ve used so far were either damaged or the top layer peeled up from a thin layer of gesso. I ended up just using the bad ones for practice pours and called it a lesson learned. They are well-built and would probably be good for painting as long as you don’t go over the edge.

These were a great value. However, the face/main front does peel apart with too much handling. I tend to be heavy-handed, and like to work with water in my paintings. These don’t hold up well and start to shred. Would be better if you just collage over it. If you need to do a wash or watercolor, even ink, be sure to gesso it first.

So these are actually 5.75” square by less than 1/4” thick.3 had blemishes that might be a problem for some. I’m using these for impasto painting which is super thick so I’ll work around the issues by hiding those areas. I’m not so thrilled with how thin these are though.

The measurement is not 6 x 6 inches as stated in the description, but rather 15 x 15 cm. Although the description mentions both units, it's important to note that 6 inches is not equivalent to 15 cm. Additionally, a few of the items have quality issues such as messy glue work, dirtiness, uneven surfaces, and cracked panels.
