how long does it take to batteries?

I don't know. I do know it works very well. I already had batteries and thought I was going to throw them away because they would not charge, but I did not have to. It charged the old batteries just as well as the new ones. I am pleased with the performance. Since I now have 5 batteries, I only charged overnight on vacation. Sorry I don't have the answer to your original question.
