I really like this keyboard. I did have to swap out the switches for Gateron brown because the reds I bought were just far too linear - as in no idea when the key was pressed and very very easy to accidentally catch. The board itself is solid, and I can compare to a Q6 too, and I was a bit annoyed as to how good this one was in comparison when I got it to be honest!

Best keyboard I’ve owned, so much more sturdy than the multiple other keyboards from “gamer” brands that have repeatedly failed for the last few years. Feels very solid and comfortable to use, big fan of the brown switches just the right amount of noise to be satisfying but not annoy everyone else in house!

Purchased this keyboard after some extensive Googling to replace an 8 year old Corsair K70 Lux that I accidentally drowned in Monster. I cannot express enough just how amazing this keyboard is. Out the box the Gateron Red switches it comes with are incredibly smooth with no scratchiness. Premium feeling keyboard all around and feels great to type/play games on. When I originally purchased the Corsair K70 Lux in Dec 2016 it cost me £150. The Keychron V6 is almost half that on a sale and it honestly makes the Corsair feel cheap by comparison. Don't bother looking anywhere else. Just buy this keyboard and leave a review about how much of a pleasure it is to use. I've been converted to Keychron going forward.

I love it. I love the feel of it. The sound and feel is really pleasant and solid. The easy of maintenance and cleaning is pretty good too. However. I've really come to dislike South facing RGB. Especially on a UK iso layout as NO ONE makes keycaps for it. The lighting is basic. There are 22(?) Options, sure but they're limited to basic flashing, pulses and ghosting. For instance I can't have the board be solid blue, then flash orange on thebkeypresses then fad back to blue. It can't do per key back lighting It can't do idle animations(albeit this was something on my steel series board that I loved) but that may be pushing it as there isn't bay dedicated software, just a basic online webapp to edit and tweak the board. I cannot figure out how to do macros like ctrl+alt+1. I've tried for hours and just cannot get it to work. If you just want a solid keeb that types good and looks good. This is a solid pick If you want more in-depth customisation, you gotta learn to code in C or look elsewhere.

The keyboard feels really sturdy. It's one heck of a weight, so no worries about it moving anywhere as you type. The lighting is south facing, but not too "in your face"... unless you want them to be. You can customise brightness, colour, movement. If you then get bored of them, they're really easy to turn off. I got the brown switch type, but they don't really sound that loud to me. The loudest is the space bar, but that's more due to size than anything. So far so good.

A nice keyboard for the price, but mine arrived damaged, & included no spare switches, so I had to return it.

I came to this keyboard after about ten years on a Microsoft Sidewinder X4. I can happily write code for hours on this, and it is a complete joy to use. I also found it great for gaming. The RBG is nice, although I tend to leave it set on the twinkle effect during the evening, so my keyboard doesn't look like it is channeling the dance floor from "Saturday Night Fever". I went for the brown switches with my purchase option, and I don't regret it. There is enough resistance to know a key has been pressed and they are not too loud.
