Love it
My dog absolutely loves this thing and helping with plague. First time he lost interest quickly, now he absolutely loves it.The dog of my parents and the one of my sister have no interest in this thing, the rings are a loved threat however also for them

Not indestructible
I have a 18 month old labradoodle who loves the large version however within a month he has completely destroyed one and on the way to wrecking the other. He only has them for 1 hour per night. The bristle section has fallen apart leaving him coughing up bits of plastic tonight. I also think the raw hide rings are quite expensive. Our other dog a Labrador retriever is just not interested. The principle of the toy is really good but not for persistent chewers

Good chew, but doesn't last long
Good design which helps to clean teeth, however it doesn't last long and the replacement chews are expensive

Just not keen on the strong smell myself
The puppy liked it after a while, not at first, too strong a smell. My previous dog who used to have one chewed it till nothing left and she loved it which is why I bought one for him. He picks it up every now and again for a chew but never for very long unfortunately

Didn’t last long before breaking
Bought 3 of these in November 2022 as we have 3 large dogs (2 newfoundlands and a black Labrador) the middle bristle disc has split in half on 2 of the 3 and the 3rd one is breaking in the same place. Used only a handful of times. We are very disappointed with the quality as they love to chew them but we will be throwing them in the bin soon.

The best chew toy my dog has
I have to use peanut butter to get her to chew it, but goodness me she loves it and it does a great job on her teeth. And it goes in the dishwasher (no awkward cavities that you can't get food out of!!) I've had it for a year and the bristles and rubber nubs are basically worn out, whilst the body of the bone is still good. It would be good if you could buy replacement nubs and bristles for it.

Great toy for a dog who loves to chew
My dog adores this, I bought it at a deal price and after fighting to get it out of the wrapper I gave it to the pup. She demolished the treats almost immediately and somehow managed to disassemble the bone - I think it must have been a little loose when I gave it to her as she has not managed to do that since. Once I had put it back together she continued to play with it and it is still a firm favourite even without treats. I bought a pack of treats and put one on from time to time but she plays and chews it constantly. It is starting to show signs of wear at the ends and she has bitten off a couple of the tips from the rubber circle but the brush circle is still going strong. I brush her teeth lregularly and I see this as a useful supplement which will hopefully get any bits I have missed.

Great toy for food-oriented dogs and seems to clean teeth.
My dog isn't very toy-oriented but he loves this. I think it's working as a dental chew (unlike all the flavoured nylon dental chews I've bought, which he ignores). You have to screw the pieces together quite tightly, otherwise they come apart, but I've found that it keeps him occupied and happy for 15 minutes or so. The replacement "gnawhide" rings can be found at half the normal RRP on the web, and you can use one at a time rather than two, so it's not really expensive to refill. The bristles are quite tough, so I can see that they might be too scratchy for some dogs, but they haven't harmed my dog's gums. He has managed to damage one of the rubber knobbly rings so I'm buying him another bristle bone as a spare. It's worth it to see and hear the enjoyment he gets from this.
