Junk. Doesn't come with a battery. There's no dimensions listed. What battery does this fit??? I would love to know. Certainly does not fit the Mighty Max ML5-12 12 V 5 Ah. This box at best will fit maybe a 2" wide battery- at best. That's pushing it. Hard to install, and then you find out it doesn't fit your battery.

i ordered a sepaerate battery with perfect dimensions to fit inside...the box was so stiff i had to use a heat gun to soften it up so the batttery could fit. then there was an issue...after it was all installed, mounted checked out good...then all of sudden the green test light didnt go on...now i had to remove all the wiring, mounting bolts, take the battery out, to see why the green battery light is out. i took the electronic module out and found on open ground because of a thin patch of gold jumper...it was pretty flimsy..is this for the fuse? no usefull information. i jumped the ground wire across the gold jumper....everything was back to normal...remounted and wired it back up....good to go. good full power to the brakes. i think anybody else would of sent this back. i needed it now. it works

I gave this product 2 stars because they returned my orders promptly. Otherwise it would be 1 star. This product doesn’t include a battery, which makes it as useless as pockets in your underwear! Now, I’d be ok with it if it said there’s no battery included, but it doesn’t. It sounds like a complete set from the description but that’s not the case. I honestly thought it was a mistake so I ordered another one. Nope! No battery! How dumb is that?!! I bought a complete set at a local trailer shop for the same price as this worthless product. But hey! The return process was great!

If you pull a trailer with expensive or valuable equipment on it, you got to have one of these, it's awesome.

It works well but the battery doesn't really fit in it. Has a small gap when trying to tighten the covers. Had to replace the screws with nuts and bolts.

This kit containes what you need to provide a larger trailer's electric 12V brake breakaway capability. The kit comes with a weather resistant housing box that has an integrated LED test light display that indicates the brake battery (not included) status. There is also a mechanical breakaway switch that has a self coiled steel cable and carabiner clip. The cable is insulated for weather resistance and doesn't drag on the ground. The housing box and the switch housing both have mounting tabs for a secure installation. The high peformance kit easily mounts to the trailer tongue for ease of accessability.Would recommend this to anyone.

Junk. Started installing this kit and after I had mounted the box and installed battery (not included in kit) I used the “test” button to make sure it was functional. It worked and light illuminated green. After finishing wiring the blue,black and white wires in to my existing plug I went to do a final test of the install. The light did not illuminate after using “test” button. I assumed battery lead came off inside. That was not the case at all. I found that a chase on the control board burnt off. Technically never even used it before it burnt up. If I had any doubt in my mind that the damage was from my own doings I would not be writing a review. This product made me go out of my way and bother to write a whole paragraph long review because of how disappointed I am in this product. Photo of circuit board attached.
