Best bang for your buck 240, and it’s not close.
Of course, one or even two bad reviews can really deter a purchase, especially with as watered down as the gaming industry products have become, but this monitor is pretty good. I had bought a few 1440p 165-170hz monitors, and I have a setup that can push the limits, so I was beginning to wonder what the difference between seeing 165 fps to 240 fps. Well, it’s incredible. Especially something like cyberpunk, with DLSS on and getting 190-220 “frames.” It just makes every game that much more immersive, or playing a competitive game like Apex. What really took the cake is the lack of ips bleed. The monitor I had that this one beat out was the Gigabyte m27q x. Both have great color and contrast for an IPS, but the gigabyte had a strong glow on the lower right that was just driving me nuts, especially with dark terrain and such being on the lower side of pictures. This one has two very small and almost unnoticeable bleeds on the top left and right, but I’ve got to view a black image to notice is. Color is great, picture is great, and the refresh rate is beautiful.

Faulty monitor with no reasonable warrenty in place
After having it for ~1 year the monitor started flickering with lines and has a row of dead pixels. I tried different display cables, refresh rates, resolutions, and computers but the issue continued with every combination. The flickering slows down after the monitor has been on for a while but the row of dead pixels persists no matter what. The monitor worked fine the night before and was not moved/touched in any way so there is no mechanical reason for the panel to break. I tried to start the RMA process with MSI since the monitor is still under warranty but they expect me to pay the ~$60 shipping through FedEx/UPS to send it to them before they will even look at it with no guarantee of a fix/replacement, then be without a monitor for what could be over a month (4 day shipping + 5 days to be "unpacked and scanned" + 14 day turnaround + 6 day return shipping = 29 business days) Even if I did send the monitor to MSI for the warranty I would still have to buy a new monitor for work/gaming to use while MSI processes the claim. Because this is a subtle panel issue that likely has something to do with temperature it's possible that they will not be able to replicate the issue and just return the faulty monitor or deny the warranty claim. This concern is exacerbated by the poor reviews of their RMA process that you can find online.

Affordable and fast
I wanted a fast 240hz+ monitor with decent color and brightness for competitive gaming. I found that in this monitor at $309. In my opinion is a great price for a monitor this good because I originally wanted to go with something more expensive like a Asus RoG 360hz or 300hz but I HEARD they have some ghosting. I dont see any dead or stuck pixels on this one. And my last 1440p monitor by AOC ghosted like crazy so i can see a big difference. You can adjust this monitor to the height and tilt you want and the base of the monitor is plastic yet I like it mostly because its a flat base instead of pointy legs like most monitor bases. I will be mounting this to my desk soon but havent yet because the base is fine for now doesnt get in my way. I like the frameless design as well. If this monitor holds the test of time I will consider getting their Oled model similar to this. MSI has great products I have two Gpus by them 4080 super expert and a 1660 oc ventus. Overall the colors are good the brightness is good and the panel is fast and smooth with minimal motion blur or ghosting in my experience/opinion. Panel also came clean with no defects. Thanks MSI will consider your Oled 360hz 1440p model next time. Only time will tell as I think this is a newer model and I will update this review in the future. One last thing, 240hz didnt work on mine with HDMI only DP. But it does apparently upscale?? To 4k 60hz in HDMI if you want. If you have an Nvidia card I would just suggest using DSR factors in your nvidia control panel in native 1440p if you want to do that as its more efficient than using HDMI to put this monitor in 4k 60hz it almost looks the same as native to me idk why. I compared the sharpness to my Samsung 4k 144hz panel and I couldn’t really tell much of a difference. Also you will get the 240hz when using DSR factors if you choose to use it.

Outstanding speed and quality
I have to admit that I begin many of my reviews with "I can't believe what one can get for their money these days", but it applies here as well. This is an outstanding monitor for gaming and general use. The text is super sharp even at 1440p, and the gaming performance is spectacular. Colors are extremely good as well, no oversaturation, and very good contrast. So far, so good....like all inexpensive components, we'll see how long it lasts, but if we get 3 years, then I'm happy. Highly recommended!

Got a stuck pixel in less than 4 month and I tried to fix it with a lot of methods but nothing seems to work + msi support told me that this normal.

The Monitor itself is fantastic for what it is use it for, mainly intense games and the Sims 4, the refresh rate is noticeably a lot nicer than my gaming laptop I got two years ago, and the colours are simply so much better than anything I could need. It’s very durable and balances very well, great product :)

Not 240 hz . Tried everything and my pc is suited for it but still can’t get anything above 144hz.
