Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 2 Super Breathe Walking Shoe

if you are buying these shoes PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THEY RUN 1/2 SIZE BIG, not a full size big but exactly a 1/2 size big. I am a true size 6 1/2 and all my other skechers are size 6 1/2 for the past 15 years. so when i say they run 1/2 size bigger i can say that with confidence if you want them to fit perfectly order a half size smaller than you usually wear. the size 6 1/2 is a true size 7. a few people on here say they run a whole size bigger but that is not true, they only run a 1/2 size bigger. if you are a true size 6 1/2, these 6 1/2's are a true size 7. however, they are out of size 6 and not seem to find any other place that sells them. but they are gorgeous, comfortable, and HOT looking! i got the hot pink and i could not locate anywhere else to purchase this particular style with the mesh and hot pink. i bought them to wear over my yoga socks (yoga socks are a bit thick with the rubber pads on the bottom of the sock) each day to go to the gym so i can get to class and slip them off quickly (instead of having to untie my regular gym shoes, so the slip on aspect is great). Now, even when i wear them over my yoga socks they are roomy, however, they stay on secure due to my socks.i was going to return them for a size 6 but they don't have anymore size 6, so i looked around online and even called our Skechers Outlet by my house to see if they carried them and they DON'T, not the ones with this airy cool mesh and none in pink. so i am keeping these size 6 1/2. if i ever decide to wear them without socks (which i probably won't do) and in time they happen to stretch out then i will just buy those little inserts that you affix to the inside of the back heel to grip, but so far they stay on just fine over my socks.as to the point that others bring up about their toe nails getting caught a bit, i can see that happening if your toenails are a little long and you wear them barefoot. however, an easy solution is to wear those little peds underneath if you want the sockless look, if not can just wear socks.i will say one thing that may explain why they tend to run large, they provide a LOT of roominess around width of the toes area, the top of the shoes are plenty roomy, so the "largeness" doesn't appear to be in the length of the shoe, but rather the width of the toes area. my guess is that this makes walking more comfortable, like the feel of wearing slippers.if i had a choice i would've returned them and got a size 6 (instead of the normal 6 1/2 i wear and ordered them in), however, the size 6 is unavailable :(((((. a size 6 would've fit me perfect even over my yoga socks and especially wearing them with peds or yoga socks.bottom line: IF YOU ARE A TRUE SIZE 6 1/2 = GET A SIZE 6 IN THESE (if they are available)IF YOU ARE A TRUE SIZE 7 = GET A SIZE 6 1/2 AND THEY WILL FIT PERFECT.but i wouldn't got a full size down, just 1/2 inch down only.i gave 5 stars because this shoe is so sporty, hip, and gorgeous and perfect to wear over my yoga socks to go into the gym and slip on and off quickly especially when i arrive late to class!! no laces to untie or tie and slips off easily without pulling my socks off too!!!

I agree with Chynna's review. I bought these because a pair I own are so absolutely comfortable, but can get rather warm after a while. Initially, I felt like I was walking on clouds and my feet were cooler as advertised, then after a couple of hours, the netting started to feel scratchy and my toenails started to get caught in the netting. Fortunately, the sneaker was wide enough so these issues weren't as bad as they could have been, but I'll be sure not to wear these for an all day walking activity. Too bad, since they are otherwise the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn.I knew before I bought them that they ran about a half size small - I wear a 7 1/2 - and that they ran a bit wide, which I appreciated because they do tend to get warm which causes my feet swell, so they didn't feel so pinched.Update: After a few wearings, the netting softened up, thank goodness! It is no longer scratchy and my toenails no longer get caught in the netting. In addition, my feet are cooler. I guess they needed a short breaking in period. For me, they are most definitely a 5 star sneaker, cool and comfortable. They make walking a pleasure!

I have several Skechers shoes and all are size 9 so I ordered this shoe in size 9. It was too large so I had to return it and get a size 8.5. I subtracted a point for that. The 8.5 fits perfectly and is very comfortable. It is light weight and very airy.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever found. I would say that I have a large foot (size 10 women's) and typically need a wide base and flexible upper. These shoes fit me so well (in a 10 regular) and are flexible, but supportive. The do not have a high arch, but the cushion does give a nice amount of support. The bottom of the shoe has good traction and support as well. And the mesh keeps my feet cool in hot weather - I just wear a no-show sock like Peds. But they are also comfortable with a full sock in cooler weather or could be worn barefoot. I was concerned that the mesh might be scratchy, but it's actually very comfortable.I purchased these in the pink color last year and loved them so much that I have been waiting for my size to be available in another color. When the black finally became available, I purchased them right away. The fit is the same for both colors - perfect.Two more notes:1. My physical therapist was very happy with this shoe for my walking therapy for knee and ankle pain.and2. I wore these for walking all around WDW & Universal Studios in FL last July - no blisters and cool feet!

My wife is a fan of Skecher Go Walks and when she saw the mesh stylem, she thought they'd be great for summer. She was disappointed. She ordered an 8.5, the same size as the other 4 pair of Skecher Go Walks she has, and these were much too large, too wide, too sloppy. The other Skechers she can wear all day, every day, and she usually does. She loves them. Finally, a pair of shoes that fits her comfortably...just not this style.

I have three pairs of the go walk 2's and I love the comfort. This pair is my least favorite. I ordered them because in the regular style my feet get warm when we're on our walks. While the mesh is more breathable it has some definite downsides. For one it's pretty stiff and starchy, I thought it would be more like cotton or lycra. Also, when you're walking your toenails, even if trimmed, catch in the mesh holes near the toes and is somewhat painful. I also got blisters from the mesh rubbing on the side and tops of my feet. I would say they're nice to wear but not for anything over a mile.
