BiotertiMen’s Y-shape 1.4 Inch Suspender -3 Metal Clips, Elastic Straps

I bought this as a gift. It was very good quality and held good.

I don't often give out a 5, so I was pretty impressed with these suspenders. First off, I'm wanting to hold up a kilt, not a pair of pants. I needed something to hold the kilt up so I didn't have to wear a kilt belt (you usually don't wear a kilt belt when dressing formally). The leather tabs are sturdy and well made, the straps are thick and wider than most suspenders (without being clownishly wide). The clips (as many people pointed out) are lined with plastic - which will be a bit more gentle on the fabric of my kilts than some of those metal ones would be. On the whole, I'm quite pleased.So far...

These suspenders are reliable and always presentable. A great gift, especially for your senior friends who have never experienced the comfort and convenience of a pair of suspenders.

The snaps don't seems to often release the pants. Good so far.

Difícil el ajuste

I have been using these pretty much daily for maybe 9 months. One of the gripper snaps that attach to the waist band of my pants started loosing it's grip and coming loose all the time . I do have them adjusted pretty tight . I was able to disassemble it and bend some of the component parts of it, then reassemble it to make it grip better again . It would have been nice if i had not had to do this . Perhaps a lot of people would have just thrown them away . I did the repair at my work bench with some nifty tools I happen to own . I am a pretty handy guy as a handyman by profession.
