Built a 40x60 and a 24x32... using this tool it cuts really well. I had the neatest cut scrap pile I've ever seen... no burrs to gotcha during clean up

Hard to control. Definitely cuts but takes off out of the gate and is moving fast...

This cutter works fine on light flat sheet metals. The cutting blades are capable enough that with a strong electric screwdriver it is possible to cut up to 16 ga aluminum and 20 ga mild steel tin. It is 'challenging' to control but after some practice quite straight cuts can be managed. Cutting across seams in even soft aluminum will not work, but I didn't buy it for that. I bought it to cut some straight aluminum gutter down pipes in half to use each half lengthwise. I plan to use the halves as rain caps for some external joists made from two 2x8 side by side to keep rain and bugs from getting down between them. This tool can cut the down pipes but only for a few inches before the cutting head jams inside the pipe. Sadly the cutting head, which looks quite small, is too big to allow the cutter to travel all the way along. It cuts the metal easily but can't fit where I need it to fit. I'm going to need a nibbler.

I'll be honest, I initially saw a version of this on Tik Tok but wanted this quicker since I'm building elevated garden beds. I read the description of the bit attachment with all of its constraints and benefits and decided to give it a try since I needed to cut some wire to be part of the base of my garden beds. Getting the spring around my wireless power drill took a few minutes, but once it was on, I was ready to test it out. Being a female and tackling these garden beds alone, what takes me 10 to 15 minutes minimum for cutting this wiring with manual wire cutters took me 30 seconds or less to power through. I wish I had known about this on the first 3 garden beds! This attachment cuts precisely with straighter lines and I don't have to eye ball if I'm on the right row of the wire. Would highly recommend!

Bought this to cut very thin galvanized sheet metal, this cutter constantly jams and damages the material you are trying to cut, tried all the different adjustments and none worked . Waste of money , item was returned .

I used this to cut 18 gauge copper sheet metal and also 30 gauge copper coated flashing. It cut both easily. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to attach it to your cordless drill around the handle part. No instructions you had to go by the pic.

The best thing about this product is that it does a nice job on thinner and flat metals and is much easier and faster than tin snips. However, keep in mind that it will not do a good job on corrugated steel of the steel siding that has bends and curves in the surface. Good price for what it does.

Tested it out on a scrap piece of sheet, it went through it like nothing. Will see how it holds up when I replace my roof with metal sheeting...

this can be useful when you need nearly zero clearance cuts and you don’t have room to waste with double cut power sheers, however i had a harder time controlling the cutter to perfectly follow a straight line
