if i buy the blue one for the 25 pounds option, does it come with a handle, 2 brushes and one charger?

The violet one for £25 came with this so I'd imagine the blue one does also.

how do the 3 cleaning modes work - is there a button to press to select each mode ?

No it’s a case of press once for mode 1, twice for mode 2 etc

How can you tell if it's charging

The best way to check if your Vitality brush is charging is to pick it up off the charger after 30 minutes and switch it on. If it comes to life, you know it's charging. Switch it back off and leave it on the charging stand for the hours it needs to complete a full charge. Please note that the toothbrush needs to be turned off in order to accept a charge. If you pick your brush up after 30 minutes to check, push the on/off button and nothing happens, it was likely in the "on" position. Do not press the button again, place the brush back on the charger, then try again in 30 minutes. Your Oral-B Team
