Q: Should you wash before use? And how/when do you wash after using?

The timber handle of the Ultimate Dry Brush can crack or split when over exposed to water or submerged in water and not dried properly as its not treated with any chemicals to seal the wood. You can use unscented liquid castile soap to wash the bristles gently with a bit of water, rinse, and allow the brush head to dry with the bristles facing down on a clean dry towel so water doesn’t collect on the timber part of the brush. Wash weekly if you use the brush daily, if you only brush once a week, cleaning the brush in soapy water once a month will be adequate.

Q: Are the bristles made of animal?

Hello, our Dry Brush has bristles made from pure, natural sisal fibers that come from the Mexican Agave Plant.

Q: Can use it for the face ?

We recommend using the body brush as directed; the bristles are designed for use on the body only.

Q: Can it be used for a drainage pathway?

It’s about the same strength wise as a bristle hair brush. I’d assume it’s good for all skin types and you can control the pressure so I’d say yes.
