Nostalgic taste
Loved the sambhar for taste.

Extremely sour & spicy despite improvisation
I knew that this ready to eat Sambhar was not for the faint hearted so I steamed ( 4 whistles) a cup of tuar dal along with vegetables such as carrots and beans. Added this yumside sambhar paste and again steamed it for one whistle. But result was still not to my satisfaction. Very sour & spicy. If I buy again I will add maybe half pack to my steamed dal.
