Nuby Sure Grip Miracle Mat 2-Section Plate - Toddler Suction Plate - 6+ Months - Gray

Purchased thus for my son as he is a messy eater and this has not only helped keep things clean but has helped avoid plates being thrown off of the high chair which is an over win!! Suction is great and love the color choices. Great size and quality for what we needed.

This was perfect as we started, baby lead weaning! Nice simple tray that stayed on the high chair tray.

I've only had this Nuby Sure Grip Miracle Mat for a couple weeks but loving it so far. Will update if it doesn't hold up well in the future. Appears to be well made, washes up fine in the top rack of the dishwasher. If they were available for a better value in a 3-pack, I'd get a set. Washing after every meal obviously isn't super convenient but I digress...Not just for babies! Perfect for those with dexterity issues or visual perception challenges. Placed on a wood top dining table, after pressing around the sides, it suctions just enough. It takes some effort to lift it off the table but does slide a bit when in use; however, not enough to fall off the table. Tested with an autistic teenager, she usually tends to knock things on the floor, when trying to grab any type of finger food. It slides a bit but stays on the table much better than a regular plate would.The high sides also make it easier to scoop foods. Going to get another for my cousin who has challenges with his motor skills. The suction would likely be perfect on a high chair or hard smooth top table (I tried it on wood grain that doesn't have a polyurethane type coating).Definitely feels like silicone, opposed to some products I've purchased and thought feel more like plastic. Thinking it should last a long time. Highly recommended.

The only thing I don’t like about these is that they don’t stick to the table. It doesn’t slide around, but my baby still rips it off the table for fun.

The mat is nice and heavy, sticks on my granite counter, but worthless for the highchair tray.Wetting the bottom of the mat , for more suction, didn’t work. My 10th old granddaughter has it dumped over in seconds. Worthless for my needs

When working on a car, computer, electronics, etc.; I like to try to keep track of the screws and/or parts removed by collecting them in a shallow container. Every now-and-then, someone (usually me) or something will knock the container off of the table (or whatever surface it happens to be on), scattering everything all over the place -- and making the job significantly more complicated than it had to be (and just plain not fun at all).This dish -- though not made for this purpose -- does a great job of sticking to the table / cart / shelf / whatever flat surface -- and does NOT go flying when bumped into. This thing stays right where I put it, holds everything I put in it until I'm ready to remove the stuff from it, and can support larger items when they're placed on top of it -- without worrying about losing small parts.I wish it had a few more compartments; but otherwise, this thing is the best small parts dish I've ever come across.

This is a nice silicone baby plate with 2 sections. It doesn't have suction cups under the plate like ithers I've had, instead the larger "mat" under the plate grips the table. I use this on our maxi cosi high chair tray & the plate always stays in place. My baby hasn't figired out how to lift it from.the suction yet, so I just make sure I never lift the bottom part of the plate in front of her, because she learns by watching, so if she knows that's how to lift the plate, the suction will be of no use anymore. It's made of sturdy silicone & cleans well.

Nuby brand is a name recognized by many moms for quality baby products. This Sure Grip Miracle Mat is no exception. Made of 100% silicone, the combination eating bowl and placemat grips nicely to flat, smooth surfaces like a counter, table, or high hair. I like the two larger sections; many I’ve seen and purchased in the past have one larger and two smaller food sections. Three sections mean one or two of the are farther away, making it harder to reach and scoop. With only two, much easier for small fingers to reach the food. The walls are solid, not flimsy, making scooping with fingers or utensils easy. The mat edging around the bowl is okay, though don’t really think it helps much with avoiding mess. New eaters and toddlers learning to use forks/spoons will still make lots of messes, some food lands past the highchair or table and onto the floor! Sure Grip won’t prevent. I like the mat to help move the bowl to the highchair and then to the sink, especially if the sections are full. Silicone cleans up quick, washing in the sink or top shelf in dishwasher. Overall, another Nuby quality product that is easy to use and clean. Recommend having 2 or 3 for home use, or give one as a baby shower gift.
