Awesome Product - Rock Hard When Cured
I purchased this to try on some rotted wooden column post bottoms, thinking it would be a temporary fix. This product cures so rock hard that I am confident this is a permanent fix and I do not need to plan on replacing the post. Cured product is extremely hard and will require carbide surfaced grinding bits/metal disk to shape after cure. Sand paper will not phase this product, so forget about using that to shape afterwards. Therefore, minimum amounts should be used and shaped with cardboard damns lined with wax paper. The wax paper is a must or the product will absorb into plain cardboard and you will have more to grid off. I highly recommend mixing very small batches to begin with to get use to this product....like two tablespoons resin, one table spoon hardener, mix that up then mix in 3 tablespoons of the wood aggregate mix. Use plenty of news papers and scrap cardboard catch drips because once this cures.... if it sets on brick you will end up chipping the brick before chipping this product off. I just ordered a second kit for more projects. I would highly recommend this product!!

Great product
We love the product. Living on an old farm property it has been helpful in many different applications. I see a couple of negative reviews that RR does not weigh 48oz as advertised. On the box it is sold by volume oz not by the weight. Before you write a review accusing a company of false advertising make sure you realize the difference between volume versus weight. Personally, Re-Rot has been the perfect fix for me .

problem solver!
product was easy to use, instructions were easy to understand, and it worked like magic! I did wind up sacrificing an old ratty tupperware container and cooking pot to mix and work with the epoxy - sacrifices well worth making!! product saved the base of my poorly-constructed exterior wall and hopefully bought me a few more seasons/years of use of the space. highly recommmend this product to restore rotten wood - furniture, fencing, structural... whatever needs fixing!

Deceptive listing, and an outright lie.
DECEPTION: The listing states for “48 oz. Epoxy”. Shame on me for not reading the fine print on the box photo, showing “24 fluid oz. of penetrating epoxy”, “24 oz of wood flour”.THE LIE: The wood flour weighs 7.2 ounces, and alternatively is nowhere near a 24 fluid oz. quantity.

Money and Time Saved
The media could not be loaded. I used Re-Rot while repairing a rotted threshold on a crawl space door for a customer. If I had used a traditional approach for this repair, I would have had to remove the header board as well as the jamb boards to free up the threshold. The finished product was rock hard, resisted water, and painted nicely. The advantages I discovered are that I saved a ton of time, money, and now this is a rot free threshold.I also used it to repair rot on the crawl space door itself. The result was a door that is now rock hard that can't rot.I also made a repair at my own home. I noticed the treated benches for my picnic table had termite holes and water damage from the legs being in contact with the ground. I turned them upside down and let the RR seep in to the legs. (See pic) This stuff is pretty impressive. It dries like a hard liquid plastic almost. I can't see how water could ever effect the wood again once it's been treated with this epoxy.

misleading in quantity
Since i need a large volume, i compared the similar product from bondo with this, it appeared this one has a much larger volume of 48 oz compared with 8oz, and the product introduction begs customer to support small business. So that i purchased this one. By checking the weight after arrival, however, the 48 oz actually includes a bag of 24 oz wood dusts/flour. It is an obvious intended cheating, unfortunately.
