Blade Replacement Hassle
Simplicity is almost always better when it comes to a knife. This one functions fine, blade is sharp, stays in place, the handle is high visibility and comfortable. However, removing and replacing the blade is a royal pain! The process of having to line up the notches, closing the lid, pulling/pushing firmly, well it's just too much....this was in the comfort of my garage. Doing this in the field with rain, snow, etc. would be less than ideal. As a hunting knife, this is a no go.....as a general purpose/in the garage knife, it's A-OK...
