PROFESSIONAL FEATURES & QUALITY FOR A REASONALBLE PRICE
This tripod was built for use in a studio. It represents a tremendous value because it offers all of the features plus innovations in design and accessories provided. To start my testing and review of this tripod I wanted to see if it was really 80'' in height. Oh, yes it is!It is the high and the mighty in my living room photo studio. Even at full extension which includes the cylindrical center section it had good stability. The wide stance of the feet that are capped with extra large boots along with the trio-brace reinforcement, leg spacing system is quite sufficient to produce a very static mount. If that were not enough this Yelbin is made of heavy materials. There is not a particular concern for light weight obviously, but more concern for doing duty as a rock solid video tripod that a professional would find useful and prone to recommend and keep. The quick mounting system comes with two mounting plates. That is a good thing because they are not of conventional size but they are unique to an innovative quick mount system.Cock the spring loaded quick connect cam arm back into a locked position, place your camera or scope into the mount and SNAP the arm is activated and provides a proprietary grasp of your device. The next step is a simple turning of a knob to further improve the mounting security. This feature really struck my fancy. It is positive and it works flawlessly if you put the mounting plate on your camera in the right direction. My best advice is to try it without the camera mounted. See which way things are lining up and then install on your camera. That is exactly what I did.In my opinion this feature is something that amateur and pro alike will appreciate. I have other tripods with mounting features similar...but a bit more complicated and therefore a bit more fussy in their usage. I like positive simplicity. That is what the Yelbin demonstrated for me.I tested this tripod with some real weight on a moderately poor flooring to observe any movement in the feet from a downward force. With the trio-brace the legs stay in position. No movement or changewas I able to observe. I put a pretty good load on it. I loaded a dumbell to slightly over twentuy kg. and placed it on top of the tripod. I strapped it in place and then proceeded to see if the fluid head was sstill smoothly operating in all movements and directions. It was! After that I picked the weighted tripod up and set it down several times to see if I could observe any movement in the feet. There was none that I could observe. The Yelbin is strong, and in my opinion, is much underrated in the specification. That is the way things used to be made. Therefore I would be tempted to say that this tripod has retrograde specifications. The fasteners work smoothly and cinch the legs securely. Again, I gave them a tortuous test by leaning my two hundred lb. frame on each section. All good, no slipping. The adjustment to the full eighty inches was also smooth operating. The fluid head works very smoothly with no skips or jumps, just continuous fluid movement.Pretty impressive at this price tag. There was really nothing to be concerned about. This Yelbin is a tremendous value.True, it is not a $1500 tripod but it is a close second and for the money, in my opinion, cant be beat.It is strong, it is innovative, it is High and Mighty, it is a bargain...Five GIANT Stars for the Yelbin 80'' professional video tripod with fluid head.

Works fine
Not quite as heavy and sturdy as I had hoped but seems to be alright. I have not had it opened up to the full height yet and may not be the best idea for crowed areas for someone to knock over. The aluminum is a little thinner than another version I have but the fluid head is good and the quick release plate is nice. No real complaints for the price.

Great tripod for the price
This tripod is smoother than a couple of our more expensive tripods. We use it on the porch of our cabin Alaska so we can quickly mount a camera for the different animals and birds on the tide flats. The weight, fit and finish isn't as nice as a a 800 dollar graphite tripod but some of the features are better. The mounting plates are large and really work nice with larger lenses and heavier cameras. We use it with a Canon EOS 5 mark 4 and 600mm sigma lens. The tilt and pan are really smooth.

Solid, if a little awkward, tripod
I’ve used this tripod a couple times now and so far I’m happy with it. It is solid and does a good job holding my camera still, even with a long 70-200 lens attached. I do find the knobs a bit awkward to tighten and loosen when I needed to adjust my camera but maybe I just need to get used to the placement. I don’t like the mechanism for attaching the camera—I found it difficult to align right and it left me jiggling around my camera, trying to fit it in the right spot so it’d close. But, again, I’m willing to bet that with familiarity, this will get easier. The legs are solid and I like the little rotating feet at the bottom that helps keep it in place and steady. It has a nice, smooth motion for panning for video.

Strong and Sturdy Video Tripod System
I currently run an Italian feast in NYC which lasts for a couple of days. Each day, we have different events. One in particular is a free concert where I take video. The one I have had for a while is flimsy and have been looking for a good one for a while now, so when I saw this pop up in my feed, I decided to give it a try.The tripod itself feels solid. It has a good range of extension with the legs and when locked, they do not move or shake. It actually feels like a solid piece and feel confident it is not going to tip over. The head function allows for 360 degree rotation, up and down and left and right which is perfect for my needs.
