WoolbuddyNeedle Felting 100% Woolen Mat (Light green)

I'm new at needle felting & started with polystyrene pads included in kits. Those dent very fast & are only suitable as a temporary measure. I heard about Woodbuddy from the Felts by Phillipa YouTube channel. This felting mat is very comfortable to use, less noisy & has great aesthetics. I loved the small version so much that I went to purchase the large size. Highly recommended!

Great little felting pad. I like that it’s soft and quiet unlike many foam options that come in felting kits.

Sturdy felting pad for needle felting

I’m new to felting and started on a foam pad. I upgraded to this a few projects in and I absolutely love it. A night and day difference! Well made, works absolutely wonderfully. I ended up getting a second as a gift to my mom!

It's a nicely made piece. I do find myself switching back and forth between this and a foam pad. This is nicer for balancing and working on 3D pieces, but the foam seems better for flat pieces - have be gentle pulling flat felt off of this, because it wants to embed in it regardless of how shallowly I try to work with the needle. Seems to make my felted surfaces more fuzzy overall as a result.

I do crochet and this way no knots or trying magic joins, using needles to sew join. It does sort of grab hold of the yarn but that's okay....plus cute.

I'm new to felting so I needed alllll the things to get started. This is by far the most useful of all the tools I loaded up on. I took this with me in the car to work on my project and it was the perfect size to bring along, not too heavy, and thick enough to protect the surface below it. I don't felt without it whether I'm on the go or in my craft room.
