Campingaz Bivouac Stove

I bought this for a week's camping trip earlier this year and it was absolutely brilliant! I'd looked at getting one of the flat Bistro-type stoves but was put off by some of the safety reviews, so went for this upright one instead. It comes in a handy storage case which also holds a canister (doesn't come with one - need to purchase seperately) and fits together in less than a minute. Very easy to screw in the Easy-Clic canister and has a piezo ignitor for easy ignition. It has four legs and a wide pan support so it easily held our heavier 3L pan. It's very quick to heat... our breakfast eggs and sausages were sizzling away within a minute and it heated about 600 ml of water in ~3 mins. The burner control range is also excellent too - efrom a gentle simmer to a rapid boil. The CV470 canister lasted four days (it was weaker on the last day) and cooked all our breakfasts and some substantial evening meals. I would definitely take two or three canisters if you are camping for a week. The canisters are specific so you must get either the Campingaz Easy-Clic Plus CV300 or CV470 - you can unscrew and store these even where there's gas left. The only minor disadvantage is that this is quite a tall stove (maybe 12 inches or so) so you need a tall windbreak if it's very windy. I highly recommend the Bovouac - it's worth paying a bit extra for the quality of this. I'm so pleased with it!

This stove is more robust than the types where the burner just screw into the gas cylinder, the removable legs make it more stable, it folds up for storage in the supplied bag which is a handy feature too

This it a great bit of kit, easy to carry in its zip up bag. Very efficient when used for cooking or boiling. A quality item.

These really are nifty little gadgets. They are well made and sturdy. They pack into their own little self contained carrier bag. The gas canister is detachable even after initial use and still containing gas. This is a simple twist and click operation. I cannot fault them as they are a vast improvement on the previous types available.

The media could not be loaded. It is looks is as same as Coleman Japan's model.But nobody has this model without me.I think if it has more power, it will good stove.

I was so happy when I found this item on Amazon. I have had a Campingaz cooker that fixes on to top of canister and used for years when fishing long sessions. It’s not the most stable method but I find that the heat output is better than other cookers . This bivouac stove answered all my problems. Delighted and would highly recommend. Especially as it has its own case and is so lightweight

This is a gift for my son to use on fishing trips and overnight camping. Looks great and will fill the bill really well.Looked at lots of styles and felt this was the best. It’s yet to be tested.

Good piece of kit that folds up quite small very pleased

der Kocher steht stabil da und durch seine Zündungsmöglichkeit braucht man auch kein Feuerszeug, mit dem man sich die Finger verbrennen könnte.

Nulla a che spartire con quelli più economici, questo è molto stabile e sicuro anche con una pentola pesante e sopra ogni superficie, anche sulla sabbia! Fiamma potente, perfetto, e minimo ingombro. Un po’ alto il prezzo per questo piccolo oggetto…ma testando le prestazioni assicuro che li vale. Consigliatissimo
