It would have made the transitional experience significantly more seamless and enjoyable. Easily 5 stars as this is probably the only diet or lifestyle related book that I would ever actually reread! Great Book
This is a great book about the vegan lifestyle. It covers everything: factory farming, nutrition, fashion, and cosmetics. The author is funny and warmhearted. There are even some receipts included. The resource guide in the back of the book is super helpful. This is a great book for new vegans like myself. I found it very helpful, and it wasn't too expensive. Great book. I highly recommend.

Very Informative
I long have been wanting to incorporate healthier choices into my meal plan, and since my husband and I wanted to explore the possibility of going Vegan, we had not fully committed yet. This book is filled with a lot of information, which slightly overwhelmed me, but also some very tasty sounding recipes that I be more than happy to try out. I was slightly disappointed in the Author for not eating the Thanksgiving meal that was prepared, it was vegetarian, would it had been so bad to be polite? Is it an all or nothing diet? But regardless of my feelings, I liked the book for its information and recipes.

Fantastic primer for vegan living
This is a superbly written book which focuses on more than just vegan eating. I love the author's interjection of humor and found myself laughing out loud numerous times. Very easy to read with guilt trips left aside. A must-have for anyone considering an ethical way of life.

Fun Read with lots of great information!
This book is not only beautifully put together, but it's also a wealth of information. This book is a great resource for everyone from those just curious about a veg lifestyle to those already vegan. There's always so much more to learn and this book definitely presents information in an engaging way. It makes going vegan and staying healthy simple and fun! There are also great recipes in the book :)

Reading through this book is like talking with your best friend. Its a fun, easy, and practical approach to transforming into a vegan life-style. Jackie Day's passion about animals shines through on every page and is matched by her knowledge in this area. For anyone who has been wanting to make this transition - but it seems too daunting, this book will help motivate you through it.

Love this book! I bought a copy for my vegan café to use as a resource and to share with customers interested in veganism. Although there are many US references it’s still relevant to readers outside of America. It’s beautifully presented and easy to read.
