I'm handicapped and these picker-uppers have been a God send. I have one in every room of my house. The ones with the suction cup ends are the best at picking almost anything up.

This is a nice pick-up/extension tool, better than some claw-style "grabbbers" for some things, like small bottles and cans. The suction cup ends are hard, and do not provide much suction, as amore force is required to squeeze then than the tool can privde, but that is fine, some items are more easily held by the suction cups due to increase surface area which the claw-style grabbers do not have.The real problem with this tool is tha while it is hinged and folds nicely, it does not lock in the open position. That is, once it is unfolded, there is no mechanism that keeps the arm straight. This might be a derious problem, the user must be carful that grabbing something and moving it does not cause the arm to fold in an unexpected manner.I would return this tool if I could not modify it, something I plan on doing is modifying each one to lock once deployed, by addind a couple of metal strips and very small clamps, or drilling holes. I plan on doin this soon, and will edit this comment once I make the modification.

Had an older version of this product that finally wore out. The new model is so flimsy and the locking mechanism does not hold as well. Like everything else, cost cutting affects the quality.

This product works as advertised. Only wish it had a lock function for those rare occasions when one must haul what has been grabbed a bit of a distance without having to keep a tight squeeze on the handle.

Due to my bad back, I keep a grabber in every room so as not to have to bend down to pick things up. These will do that okay, but the materials and construction are definitely not first quality. I would not dare try to grab anything from a shelf with one, unlike heavier-duty grabbers I have had in the past.

This is bendable but the lock doesn’t stay lock. I bought a 2 pack and it’s the same with both.

The media could not be loaded.  I use a mobility scooter and I bought this because it folds up and I can take it with me to the grocery store to reach things on higher shelves. It comes in a package of 2 which I did not understand why. After 3 uses the button that operates the fold and lock mechanism broke. Unfortunately I didn't need 2 so I gave one away. It isn't a very strong reach stick partly because of the bend. I bought it so I would not have to seek out store staff to reach things for me, but because it is flimsy and now broken, I still have to inconvenience myself by having to find store staff to help me. I would not purchased another folding stick like this one. I'm going to look around to see if I can find a shorter version that doesn't fold.

I gave these a 2 star because they are flimsy, seem cheaply made. In that case i cannot use them for what i wanted, they wont last.I find it was more of a hassle trying to grabe a dvd from the floor, the cups just wouldn't grabe. I also tryed grabbing a 1l ou juice, felt like i was going to break it, plus you have to force more with your arm. Upsetting i really needed one.Already requested my return.

I am disabled, and must spend most of my time sitting down. I use sticks like this all the time, every day to reach things so I don't have to get up. These are not as strong as the original ones I bought a few years ago, but they do the job. There lots of kinds of sticks, but I find the ones like this with the suction cups at the end to be the most useful. These are not terribly strong, and tend to fold in the middle,. So I got two popsicle sticks and duct taped them to the middle section so that it could not fold and would be stronger. That worked great.

Poor design. Why did it have to fold. Intehrety is screwed when you make these foldable. I own 11reavhers and these are the 2and worse. The only one worse was half the size and did not close. These barely can pick up a can. You spend too much time working those stupid useless suction cups the suction nothing. Design fail. Mine broke in 2 days at the fulcrum. The bend where it folds. Plastic anchor broke off and it fell apart

BUYER BEWARE. Broken on 1st use. Was happy with this item when I used one of them but later that day, I used the other one and the cap came off the locking “pin” and wouldn’t stay locked. Buy a better quality one. This is such a pain. Requested a refund due to it being defective. I saw others comment that it broke but saw some good reviews too. Hoped it wouldn’t happen to me but that’s life!
