My granddaughters aged 6 and 3 loved painting together - we had to buy more shells !!! And now they have picked up different sized rocks and making a painted garden - perfect for the girls!!

This was such a fun surprise for my 10yr old daughter on the beach! When she needed a break from the water, she painted the shells and then laid them in the sun to dry! Such a hit! Plus she could keep painting other shells and rocks she found on the beach. If I had one complaint, it would be that there should be more paint included!

Wonderful gift for my granddaughters. Only problem was the red clay was dried out and not usable.

Purchased this item as a birthday gift and liked it so much that I purchased it for my child and also for a few other birthdays. Very cute gift idea or even just as an everyday craft for a summer project. The price is on point. My child had fun creating special shell memories. Overall a very easy gift!

Bought this as a white elephant gift since we have a 7 year old in the family and try to include her in the exchange. She brought this over on a cold winter day and it was so much fun! I love that there are ideas/examples of what to create on the shells on the outside of the box. We had so much fun thinking up how we wanted to decorate them. It says they are real shells but I think they are molded from clay-I could be wrong but there was thin, overhanging edges at the bottom of some of the larger shells. We decorated these to take to the cemetery and place on various headstones. These are water color paints so you'll need to spray with a clear coat if you plan on exposing to the elements. So many cute ideas - would be perfect for a wind chime etc.

Updating my review to 3 stars due to great customer service, they reached out to me very quickly regarding my review to make things right. I would give them another chance, maybe I received a bad batch. I didn’t expect them to reach out and was very happily surprised.Unfortunately very disappointed with this set. All of the modeling clay was completely dried and brittle when opening the package. The paint was also incredibly difficult to open and spilled upon opening. Overall I would not recommend

Updated Review (7/22): the seller has reached out and offered a full refund for the product. I am so beyond impressed with Customer Service. We are going to give it another try and order another set and hope that the clay comes in good condition! We ended up using Play-Doh to create little animals instead of the clay. But, really appreciated the seller making it right, so updating my review to five stars!Original review (7/17): Super disappointed! Bought this as a fun rainy day project, and the clay is completely dried up and unusable! Definitely expired materials. The shells are great. The paint was super hard to open, but wasn’t dried up. Just defeats the purpose with dried up clay, not worth the money!
