I bought this based on someone's review on a lotion my dermatologist recommended. She said the combo of this soap and that lotion (LaRoche-Posay Lipikar Urea 10%) was a game changer for KP. YES IT IS. This soap is amazing (and I used this with my old lotion first - the soap did better than the lotion alone. And the soap in combination with the new lotion? My skin has never looked better. For the first time in years, I don't have a 'snow shower' of dry skin coming off when I remove my trousers/jeans (gross I know, but it's true). The exfoliation is invigorating and is making a giant difference, and I think it's helping the lotion work better too. I've been using this soap for just over a month. No more ingrown hairs, like AT ALL. None, for the first time in years and years. I like the smell too. I use this soap every shower on my legs and other problem areas, followed with shower gel for the rest of me. It's amazing. Get it!

If you have KP, this is your life saver! I have had KP as long as I can remember and it was getting worse and worse. I hated the way my skin felt on my upper legs, upper arms, and shoulders. So I did a deep dive into the most important ingredients and ways to get rid of it because I have spent so much money to no avail. My success came from a combination of two things. I will list the second product on this review as well as listing this product when I do a review for the other product (right after I finish this review) because I believe it is important to get the benefits of both to have the best possible outcome. I have read some reviews saying that this soap is too abrasive and I can see where it could be, but if you use it correctly I don’t think it is. Just shower or bathe and make sure your body is wet and the bar of soap is wet. Then lightly use it in the places you have the rough and bumpy skin. I like to use small circular motions all over my arms and my upper legs, making sure the soap stays wet. I also flip it over a few times while using it if one side starts feeling too rough. Then when I rinse and finish my shower, I dry off thoroughly. Then I use the second product which is a lotion called La Roche-Posay Lipikar Urea Roughness Smoothing Lotion. I use it on all the places I scrubbed with the soap. I honestly don’t know if either product would work the wonders they have worked for me individually, but together they have worked miracles! The very first time I used both of them together, I could see and feel about a 60% reduction in my KP, the second time, an 80% reduction, the third time it’s almost unnoticeable and I can barely feel it. This has never happened before and believe me, I have tried everything! So if you are like me and tired of wasting money on the never ending worthless products, give these two a shot. I get absolutely nothing for sharing this information and I paid full price for my products. I just hope to bring others the same results I have finally achieved as well as the happiness I have felt from finally finding an end to KP!

I love that this soap is not as rough as other exfoliating soaps I've tried. I use it about 3-4 times a week especially just before shaving my legs and it is amazing. It doesn't leave my skin feeling raw or sensitive or dried out. I also love that is doesn't have any scent or leave any residue. I purchased it specifically because I have always had these tiny bumps on the back of my arms and thighs and nothing I had tried got rid of them. I did some research online and this was one of the soaps that was suggested. After about three weeks of using this soap 3-4 times per week they are gone. However, they do start to come back if I miss a few of those days. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I was a little skeptical trying the microdermabrasion bar out, because I thought I had usually exfoliated pretty well. Over the past year though, I started getting these little hard white bumps on my legs and overall my skin has become a lot dryer. So, in addition to my normal scrub and lotion, I wanted to try something else out before making a trip to my dermatologist. Wow! This bar has worked great! I didn’t use it that often at first (maybe 1-2 times a week), because I wasn’t really sure if it would irritate my skin. That didn’t work at all though, so now I use it 3 to 5 days a week. And it has completely cleared up my skin. No more bumps and my legs are softer now than they have been in years. I highly recommend using this bar! It does have a lot of grit to it, so I could see that it might be irritating to your skin if it was really sensitive. And it does leave a bit of a residue in the bottom of the shower when you first use it, but that washes away pretty quickly. Even with that, it’s completely worth it. I don’t know how severe my case was compared to others, but I suspect it might be on the milder side. I have no idea if it would work as well for someone who has a lot of bumps, but it definitely made a total difference for me.

This has helped clear up the KP on my arms and the folliculitis on my legs so much! They aren't completely gone yet but there's only a few left and I feel like they will be gone any day now. I've also been using the Hypocyn spray on my legs and I feel like this combo is perfection! If you can go to a dermatologist and you have folliculitis ask for the Hypocyn spray! It literally cures so much (except KP) and I know this because I work in a dermatology clinic.
