Transcend 2TB MTE250H NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD Gen4 x4, 3D NAND Flash with Aluminum heatsink (Read/Write - up to 7,100/6,500 MB/s) - TS2TMTE250H

I bought the 2GB version a year ago. It performs very well. I usually do not play games directly off it, although it is capable of direct play. The write speed is off the charts - copied 213GB worth of games from PS5 memory to the SSD in about 3 minutes. It is compatible and easy to install. I suggest to buy a heatsink if you want to install and play games directly off the SSD. Note - the model number with 'H' comes with heatsink preinstalled.

I bought this for my PS5 and oh buy did it surprise me. It is actually faster than the built in SSD making it lii I ad the games faster within few seconds.Tried playing massive games like Warzone and Red dead redemption 2, this did now break a sweat whatsoever and made the game load within 6 seconds at maximum.Truest value for money in my opinion.

Not sure what people are saying here regarding it being slower than the PS5, it isn't lol So you're fine to use this on the console.

The hard drive is not working.They sent a defected hard drive and can’t do anything about it. Maybe replaceable in Nehru Place Service Center.

***Update:Removed the drive and inserted it into a laptop. Reformatted and updated the firmware of the drive. Installed again in PS5 and reformatted. Now drive speeds are significantly improved (not as much as the internal drive but still a significant difference). Now i'm a happy camper and the cost of the drive is much justified.Only problem is, if using in PS5, in case of future firmware updates, there's no way to directly upgrade it from the console.***This SSD comes at a very reasonable price as compared to other brands. Bought this for my PS5 as using an external hard disk was a bit cumbersome. The drive installation is very easy. Speeds are not that great. Game load times are slow. Once games are loaded there is no issue. Transferring games to and from the internal drive also is not very great. However the plus point is, it let's you play PS5 games directly off it so you don't need to keep transferring games back and forth. If you can make a peace with the loading and read write speeds then go for it. 4TB gives you a good enough space for big PS5 games.

I bought around 26.6k for 4tb ssd , ps5 read speed around 6400 which is sufficient, also it cones with inbuilt heatsink ,,,, value for money

The Transcend SSD is great in terms of read and write speeds. It however crumbles under gaming load. The games I played on the PS5 with this ssd installed had a lot of problems with loading and storage transfers. I then put the ssd in my pc for general storage purpose and I haven't had any complaints since then. This ssd is just not suited for gaming, especially the PS5 (advertised on the box).

This 4TB SSD comes with a thick heat shield and it's perfect for a board with no built in shield. It is faster than the previous generation.

Just installed this 4tb ssd into my PS5! This bad boy does not disappoint! I transfer all my 10 PS5 and PS4 titles in 25 minutes! Quite a speed. Also it’s the most affordable 4tb ssd with heat sink currently available on the market. Very satisfied!Update: I have this installed in my ps5 for about a year now and I noticed all of my installed games on this internal ssd card became unplayable and super lagging! Gameplay and cutscenes were super choppy! It lagged so much that the ps5 decided to shutdown and send me an error message!!

This M2 is high speed, stable and very good quality.

Empleé este SSD de Transcend junto con un adaptador (tipo largo) para actualizar el SSD de un MacBook Air de 2017.Otros emplearon en dicho upgrade un Samsung 990 Pro, y como resultado obtuvieron tiempos extendidos de arranque y una peor duración de batería.EL Samsung 990 Pro también se calienta demasiado y puede dañar otros componentes en la placa del MacBook Air.Con este SSD NVMe de Transcend, cero problemas:-Primero, inserté el SSD de Transcend en una carcasa USB a NVMe de Orico.-Segundo, cloné el SSD de Apple de 512GB (300GB en uso) al SSD por USB con Carbon Copy Cloner.-Tercero, abro el MacBook Air y desconecto la batería. Extraigo el SSD de Apple. Inserto el SSD de Transcend recién clonado con su adaptador en el slot. Conecto la batería de nuevo.-Cuarto, Antes de arrancar el MacBook Air, reseteo SMC y PRAM.-Mac OS Arranca sin problemas.El SSD con Protocolo NVMe es detectado sin problemas y rinde a velocidades sostenidas PCIe 2.0 4x (1400MB/seg)Mi MacBook ahora posee Velocidades SSD de MacBook Air M2 en un MacBook Air de 2017 gracias a este SSD NVMe.Actualmente a una temperatura de 33-40C en mi MacBook Air. La temperatura máxima alcanzada: 46C.El SSD posee una etiqueta que es un disipador de Aluminio-Grafeno. Es mejor dejarla puesta para que ventile mejor.La duración de batería en MacBook Air con este SSD: Entre 12 y 16 Horas, quizás haya aumentado en 2-3 Horas la duración.El Controlador empleado, Silicon Motion SM2264 es excelente, posee End-to-End ECC y es de bajo consumo.El SSD posee 1GB DRAM DDR4-3200 de Cache. Y se nota mucho.100% Satisfecho con esta compra, El MacBook Air ahora va como un cohete, recomendado.
