My wife is a nature photographer and had an earlier version of Manfrotto. This one is much better, lighter, and easier to carry and set up.

I like everything about it, especially the locking releases. They are fast to release without thinking about which way to twist or untwist.

I am so glad I upgraded to this Manfrotto. I was previously using an older, much heavier Manfrotto that started to show it's age. Like most photographers, we use our equipment until it breaks, and that's what finally happened. This new lighter tripod gives me the same height as my old one, much lighter than the old one, and the horizontal column is new for me. I love that I can set my camera up to take a picture straight up, and straight down.

A good tripod for outdoor photography needs to be1. Tall enough so you're not stooping. (That's WITHOUT the center column raised.)2. Sturdy, for vibration-free exposures.3. Light enough not to feel too burdensome on a moderate hike. (Long hike: Okay, take the little, rickety one.)4. Versatile for getting higher, getting down to the ground, etc. The movable center column allows getting right down to ground level, kind of like those old Benbo 'pods.5. As few leg segments as possible—better stability.6. Easy-to-work, dependable lock levers instead of twist locks on the legs.7. Cool-looking, let's be honest.This one, to use an overworked phrase, ticks all those boxes. I spent a bit to add the Acra ball head, and this tripod is my friend. I call him Trevor. Trevor the Tripod.No kidding, though expensive, it's a very fine tool. And doesn't cost as much as a Gitzo. (Nothing does.)

It’s super cute but there is no way this is for ages 3-12. It’s more for ages 2-5, way smaller then I thought it would be.

Cute baby shark blanket. But has no layer of quilt batting at all so not padded enough to use to curl up on the floor in front of the TV, or as a sleeping bag.
