I have several pairs of shoes from this brand, and can confirm they all seem to run a bit small. For reference, I normally wear a US9.5 or EU 40, and the size 9 in Vivo is actually a 40, however I have consistently needed a 10 (EU 41) in all the styles I’ve tried. Love them tho, very comfy! Just make sure you’re walking correctly before judging these- when you go barefoot, you need to step down on the ball of your foot first, and your calves will need time to get used to it if you aren’t already, but your knees and hips will thank you down the road if you make this your regular habit, as opposed to heel striking, which is terrible for you in the long run.

I’ve worn skate shoes most of my life and found my knees and ankles and toes starting to hurt the older I got. These are like the padding and feel of a skate shoe but with the ability for natural toe splaying. It’s the dream shoe! If you’re a 9.5 get a 10.

I’ll start by saying that these shoes are great, they look just as they do online. The outer material is super soft and flexible yet feels durable at the same time.They fit smaller than my other vivo’s of the same size, which is slightly bothersome. I have multiple pairs of vivo shoes, all ladies 9/40 - which is the size I ordered on these. My big toes are so close to touching the end of the shoe with regular (toe) socks on. Maybe it’s the design of this particular shoe that makes it fit differently.

If you haven't tried barefoot shoes, then do some research first but otherwise, this model is awesome! It's a great blend of a light hiker shoe with an everyday/casual wear too. I even wear them to work on some days. Not sure how they will be on colder weather but overall, very quality built shoe with great benefits.

I think this is actually more of an amazon problem. I came to amazon after the VIvobarefoot website was sold out of this shoe, and amazon prompted me to go to the "Vivobarefoot shop." Vivobarefoot offers a 100 day guarantee, so I was confident in my purchase, but instead it was actually hidden that this is NOT VIVOBAREFOOT, and is actually a third party seller. Low and behold, these shoes were too small and caused excessing bruising on my toes over time, which is still there a month later. This seller WILL NOT TAKE THE SHOES BACK IF THEY HAVE BEEN WORN. This is extremely misleading for anyone familiar with vivobarefoot and expecting the same guarantee and customer service. I how have a $180 pair of shoes I wore once that I can't do anything with. The seller is misleading and Amazon failed by also misleading the buyer to thinking they are being sent to an official Vivobarefoot shop.

I really loved these shoes, however after 6 months of wearing daily, the bottom of the shoes wore out and both had giant holes in them by the next month. They were super comfortable, but for the price I wish they'd been more durable. Mostly wore them on tile and walking sidewalks, not any major hiking.

I have been wearing my shoes every day since they arrived. I was able to put my insoles in with no problem. Was looking for a shoe I could wear all day and walk distances in without my feet feeling fatigued. Needed some ankle support but nothing heavy. This shoe is wonderful for me. I have a narrow foot. I ordered my regular size 9 women.

I wore them for the first time today. And probably the last time. They're very comfortable and supportive. But there are two spots -- a different one on each foot -- where the boot rubbed hard enough to bring up blisters in just a few hours. One one foot, the plastic ankle support rubbed against my outside ankle bone; on the other, the side of the shoe dug into the side of my foot below the small toe. I was wearing fairly thick socks, and my feet are average size and width. Having owned other Vivo shoes, I didn't expect this problem at all.I'm on the first day of a weeklong trip. I brought one other pair of shoes, which is now going to have to see me through the rest of the week. And this trip will involve quite a bit of walking, which is going to be less happy with these blisters.I'm not a happy camper right now.

Die Schuhe sind definitiv ihr Geld wert. Top verarbeitet. Angenehmes Tragegefühl. Sehr gutes Material. Sieht auch modisch aus. Man kommt gut rein und raus aus dem Schuh.

Der Schuh ist mein erster Barfußschuh und ich laufe jetzt seit ca 4 Monaten darin. Sämtliche andere Sneaker habe ich verkauft, weil ich gemerkt habe, wie unbequem diese eigentlich sind.Der Schuh ist sehr gut verarbeitet, einziges Manko ist, dass sich die Sohle am Zehen-Knick an einer Seite löst. Ist schnell mit etwas Sekundenkleber behoben. Das Material fühlt sich alles sehr toll & hochwertig an. Jetzt zur den kälteren Tagen habe ich absolut kein Problem mit kalten Füßen durch die Thermalsole. Im Sommer hatte ich sie rausgenommen, trotzdem bekommt man durch das Obermaterial leicht schwitzige FüßeNormalerweise habe ich eine 43, die war mir aber Gefühlt zu weit und des wegen habe ich mich für eine 42 entschieden.

Les doy un 10 en durabilidad y comodidad. He de reconocer que me compré mi número y me quedaban bastante justas, tengo el empeine alto y estas botas son bastante bajas, a pesar de ello decidí no cambiarlas y al cabo de un tiempo se dieron de sí lo suficiente como para caminar sin acordarme de ellas. Con la plantilla térmica se notan más justas, si se retira se siente mejor la sensación de caminar descalzo. Las vengo usando durante el invierno y he de decir que he sentido frío con ellas usando un calcetín de lana grueso, así que no las recomiendo para climas extremadamente fríos y con nieve. Por lo demás genial, adoro el modo en que se ajustan a mi pie como un guante y me permiten realizar cualquier movimiento.
