Pretty neat piece of kit!
I like the light output adjustment feature that mimics a backpacking stove. (MSR Pocketrocket) On the brightest setting it illuminates a room pretty well. The lower light setting work great in a small tent and is easier to use for area lighting than my headlamp. I would like to see a red light capability added on future models. So far it is holding up great and working well as a tent camping light, truck camping light and as a piece of emergency gear.

Very bright and excellent for lighting a large area. It's dimmable too!
Very nice lamp to go along with the ELECOM battery pack or power bank. It's very bright and dimmable and will light up our large bedroom completely. It's more of an area lamp than a direct spot lamp style, and is made to illuminate a rather large area like a campsite or other room in your home. It works great with the power bank and has a small tripod which comes with the lamp. Highly recommended. If you purchase the power bank, get the lamp to go along with it. Makes it much more versatile.

This is awesome!
This is the coolest most functional outdoors light ever. I am so stoked about the design and durability. The light level is controlled by a lantern style feature which makes it great to dial the light level exactly how you want it. It articulates and has a good range of movement. It plugs in to a battery pack. I recommend buying their power pack as it is an amazing product and it also has a securing ring that fits with their other products. What a great design and value for the price. It is a perfect size and easy to throw in a back pack or tank camping. We also used it for a power outage at home. The light draws very little power but gets really bright at full power. I love this businesses products. Highly recommend and I look forward to using their other product and seeing what else they come out with.

Just got it. Initial impressions are good.
I have been eyeing these for a while on amazon. The light design and the system it's a part of had me very curious. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale to get this light, the battery pack, and the solar panel. I'm still trying it out, but here's what I see so far. First, the light is bigger than it appears in the pics. That's not bad. It's an interesting design. The white panel, which appears to protect and diffuse the light from several large, bright LEDs, is a little larger than a standard credit card. It illuminates a wide area while using very little power. I would say this appears to be intended as a stationary light. You get it out, connect it to the power pack, and set it on a table or in your tent, and leave it alone to illuminate an entire area. You can carry it, but I'm afraid the light would be prone to damage at the connection point, no matter how durable it might be. Second, the design of the base is kind of interesting. It's built to only fit the Elecom power pack. The connection has 3 lugs that allow the two components to mate together, but limit what the light will connect to. You might be able to get a USB-to-USB extension cable to get around that limitation and run it from other USB devices or hang it from your tent roof. You can hang it upside down from the included tripod, which has a ring, but I think the power pack would put undue weight on your tent compared to using a USB extension cable. One thing I like is the designers reinforced the USB connection with a plastic retaining collar. You're not just relying on the USB connection to hold the light in place- you're screwing a ring down onto the power pack to secure the light in place and keep water out. That's a good idea. I kind of like the little wire bail switch, which resembles old gas-powered lanterns. When you turn it on, you have a positive click!, which I like. The light is bright. So bright, in fact, I cut out some red plastic gel sheet and taped it over the light to make it more night vision-friendly. It took 2x layers of red plastic gel overlay to tame the bright light. That's not a complaint-just my personal use case. I like the power pack this connects to and how it's intended to be an all-in-one solution for power needs. You can run this light on one USB connection and have a personal device wired into the other USB connection. Pair it with a multi-tip USB cable and you have a very good solution for lighting and power needs. Consider the red-overlay I mentioned for when you're in the field at night.

Nice companion for the power bank.
I already had the Nestout Power Bank, so this was a no brainer for me. I debated between the flashlight and this one. I chose this light because I wanted to use it for a power outage light source. This kit comes with the light, and a tripod that screws into the base of the power bank plus the connector sleeve for the power bank. The lumens are very adjustable. It can be turned down for use as a night light, or cranked up to light up a good sized room. It is bright and can be adjusted for how "warm" the output is. I keep mine white. That's what I bought it for. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the adapter sleeve that mates the power bank to the lamp seems be pretty "tricksey" a possible single point of failure. Yes, you can just plug the lamp into most any USB source/cable and it will illuminate, but it is most useful when you use the provided collar to physically secure it to the power bank. I just hope I never lose the collar or that it never breaks. Hope is never a good course of action though. Considering the overall design and build quality of these products, it seems like the collar was an after thought. It almost looks like they did not consider that this lamp would ever be used occasionally, more than a few times. It works for me and my needs quite well though. I have already needed to use the lamp several times during outages and it has always performed well. Very well designed and built, except for the present collar. If they offered the collars for sale separately (like a 3 pack or something) or if they design a better collar, I would easily raise this to 5 stars. Overall, it is a good product, worth the price, which is not substantial at all for what it does. If you live somewhere the power goes off several times a year, I easily recommend you look into this lamp.

Great light
I reviewed the Nest battery charger ( great product) and bought the light at same time. Gave light and charger pack a quick checkout last night and really like it. Both products seem well built and light is more than enough bright. Instructions say 30-1000 lumens but seems more like 100-1000 lumens. Has lantern style on/off switch that’s dimmable and “ clicks” when turning off too. Plastic collar for attaching light to charger bank just secured light to bank but wish it was some how attached to prevent loosing it at some point or breaking it. Comes with a nice little plastic folding tripod that screws to bottom of battery bank which you really need. Tripod also has a “loop” for hanging from tent or such. Light head is adjustable also for direction. Seems well built and recommend

Great camping light
This was the first item that arrived from Elecom NESTOUT that I ordered- Small- light weight- adjustable flood - The functionality is extremely easy to use plug and play with a usb battery pack or any usb power source- The panel light is basically a flood light that you can carry in your pocket- Has adjustable on/off switch/dimmer- When using on high the light gets hot will burn a child so be careful It was made for the outdoors so I am assuming it is as durable as their battery packs

Bright
This think is bright. I got this because it was recommended to me by some friends. Only thing is, it needs a bigger bag to put it in. The bag comes with the battery. Looks like it is about to bust at the seems.
