Our son was released from hospital October 2025 recovering from Serotonin Syndrome which left him unable to stand or walk. We had a very short window of time in which to find affordable equipment that would aid us in transferring him from wheelchair to our honda pilot and visa versa. Came across a video on this product which convinced us this would work. We ordered it and it was delivered quickly. Assembly was easy. The product worked as advertised. Great product. Great value.

I was looking for a way to get my Dad into the car without having to buy the brand new, wheelchair accessible car that we had been looking at the week before at the car dealer. I figured I needed to find a better solution than paying $85,000.- on that new car. I originally bought the electric version of this machine but I quickly returned that one since it is way too heavy to put it in and out of the car for daily use. I found this Manual one and I love it since I can separate it into 2 parts which means I am not having to lift the whole 70 some pounds but end up lifting about 25 or some pounds at a time which is how I get the machine in and out of the trunk of the car. I would recommend this machine for someone who can lift 25 or some pounds at a time and who is looking for a way to save money while still being able to get their loved ones in the car so that they can get out and about.

I needed to be able to transfer my husband between bed and wheelchair by myself. The size of the Hoyer lift made it out of the question in our circumstances. I have just completed the transfer in both directions with this device. It worked perfectly, and my husband found the transfer comfortable. The hydraulic lift crank is smooth and easy to operate, the sling attachments snap on securely, and the wheels lock firmly and easily. Everything about it feels very solid and sturdy. The base width adjustment is a little awkward to execute, but doable. Leaving it in the adjusted position works in all situations for me so far, but I wouldn’t want to have to adjust it every time I used it. I intended to order the model with a solid backrest, but ordered the one with the double bars. I just pad it with a towel when in use, and it’s OK. A friend assembled it, so I can’t speak to that, but he said it was easy, and the proper tools were supplied, plus a few extra parts, which is always appreciated. I’m pretty sure this would work for a car transfer, but I’m not looking forward to disassembly and reassembly in order to do it.

Do your research on these things. The feet do expand but when fully pushed in, the higher the chair is lifted it seems more unstable. I wish I would have went another route. This was a total waste of my limited funds due to my sons new disability. As I had to resign from my job to be his caregiver. Also, take into consideration the height of anything you are going under as the wheels add to the height you will need a good 5 to 6 inch clearance of any furniture you are planning to sit loved one on with this.

This chair does a good job of transferring a person who doesn’t have the strength to stand. It is sturdy

This chair disappointed me. I was looking to find something to help transfer my son’s roommate into his jeep or even my truck. Although we did measurements for the jeep and assumed it would work it does not go high enough to get him in the passenger seat and so we are back to our old ways of Getting him inside the jeep which is hard on him and hard on my son. I wish it went up higher.

Easy to assemble extremely sturdy strong. I haven't used it yet but tested it on many family members definitely can hold 190 pounds.

The thin wrench for installing the wheels is very cheap, and did bend and warp when assembling and disassembling. The width needed to fit through our standard doorway would not fit properly and safely under either of the two wheel chairs we have, and therefore, this will not lift a person in and out of the wheelchairs. With human weight in this device, the chair will not roll safely over any normal kitchen or bathroom thresholds that we have. In conclusion, the design appears to be intuitive, but does not work in a real world situation.

El producto es una grua para mover enfermos, a mi me sirvio bastante bien ya que mi paciente requiere asistencia para moverse y este producto nos ayudo bastante para moverlo de una cama a silla de ruedas y a un reposet, muy recomendable

Ea buen producto, solo que si tienes que tener un hogar de buen tamaño para poderla trasladar por la casa, ya que si es algo ancha, pero muy funcional para los traslados, sencilla de armar.

Me ayudó bastante para mover a mi esposa, cuando ella no podía pararse, incluso lo usé para subirla y bajarla del auto

Buena opción para traslado de una persona con discapacidad al baño o un sillón, el problema es que es del mismo ancho que la silla de ruedas y las llantas son pequeñas, se atoran en piso irregular, en liso muy bien. Dificulta pasarla a un vehículo.
