so chuffed with this that i bought 3! great gift for kids, comes with its own slides containing specimens to view in the microscope really clear views with zoom. the whole thing is easy to use and functions well for a pocket microscope. Small pocket size means its easily portable and frankly for this price represents a great value present.

I bought for my granddaughter as an introduction. Looking at mini beasts in the garden and out in the park. Works well and happy with the purchase. Good delivery too.

Great little microscope, see bugs and flowers up close in so much detail from such a small microscope. It does need some patience and a steady hand to get the object in the right place and focussed

Not overly impressed
I had hoped this would appeal to my 4 years and 8 years old grandsons but sadly not. I didn’t think the images on the slide were magnified enough to hold their interest. Not sure it will be used by them voluntarily, I think it will require a lot of encouragement. Currently trying to locate a dead fly…….

Makes small things look bigger. NOT your bank balance!
Kids seem to like using this though it has it's limitations so they won't be holding onto it when they go to uni!!
