Baume & Mercier Men's BMMOA10061 Capeland Analog Display Swiss Automatic Silver Watch

I purchased a automatic Baume and mercier watch for my wife and I also purchased this automatic men Baume and mercier watch for myself , I am very sorry to report that both of the watch are not worth the cost.My wife's watch is get behind about 2-3 minutes a day and always needs readjusting and my watch the time keeping is not as bad as my wife's but the problem I have is the supposedly scratch resistant sapphire crystal actually scratches very easily and looks pretty bad. So my advise is, spend your money on other brands seems like this brand is not as reliable and as quality as it should be.

Have had the watch for about month now. This is a really attractive watch; it has some heft, and is palpably masculine but doesn't feel too big like some ridiculous models these days. The face is classic, modern and elegant. A lot of detail on the face, but never difficult to read what time it is. Everything about the watch (e.g., materials, weight, finish, fit) says quality, and no regrets whatsoever on the purchase. The automatic movement is fantastic, and sure to delight mechanical watch geeks. Periodic winding and regular wearing of the watch keep the movement going; halts if not worn for a few days (just reset again). The clear glass face on the bottom is a nice touch (to view the various parts on the inside). Haven't had occasion to use the 'tachymetre' or 'telemetre'. Stopwatch works like a charm, but seem unnecessary these days. The steel bracelet is comfortable over full day wearing; has a slight contrast in steel color, and closes with triple folding clasp -- opens with buttons on the sides. Only (minor) criticism: the manual is too comprehensive, covering the entire Baume catalogue, and instructions are not always clear what applies to this watch. Other than that, highly recommended. If you're in the market for a high quality Swiss watch, interested in a lesser known 'boutique' but nevertheless highly respected mark, and you like the look of this one, look no further.

I like the watch it is pretty nice looking watch except that it is bulky and heavy.

I had this watch in my Wish List for close to two years, but was having a hard time justifying the purchase price. I was very excited when I saw it was going to be offered as a Lightning Deal. Although still more than I ever thought I would spend on a watch, other than my wedding ring, it is the only jewelry I wear and I decided to buy for myself as a Father's Day present. I couldn't be happier with this watch. While larger and heavier than the Movado it has replaced, it looks great for work and leisure. It is my first automatic, and it seems to be keeping accurate time. I needed to have links removed from the bracelet and found a local jeweler that did the service for free. I absolutely love this timepiece, especially considering I got it for almost two-thirds less than the retail cost.

Beautiful watch! Nothing more to be said. You will get what is pictured minus the manufacturer warranty card. Not a deal breaker for me. Plus the price is fantastic for this watch. Fast shipping.

Beautiful piece of engineering. Looks GORGEOUS. Pretty heavy though, be ready to carry the weight.I love that you can see the mechanism inside it and the "heart" beating.I did not want to spend that much money ($1,6K - sale price) on a watch but what the hell, why am I working hard everyday after all?
