MARMOT Men's Precip Eco Jacket

If you're looking for a good-looking, reliable lightweight waterproof jacket you're in the right spot. Packs super light. Just throw it on top of whatever you're wearing and it protects the shirt you have underneath. Even in pretty heavy rain it keeps your shirt under pretty dry (unlike cheaper rain jackets). Highly recommend.

Fits well trim but room for layer underneath if necessary, on chilly day. Wear 43 men's and large fits me well.I only use this occasionally on rainy day so I cannot evaluate wear and tear. Has kept me dry so far. Fold up hood was a plus for me as I will usually wear a hat for the rain.

This replaces one retired in tatters that my son grew very attached to. As soon as there is a cloud in the sky you cannot get off his body. good fit,good style, and very effective to keep you dry and comfortable.

Lightweight and durable. This also provided another heat layer in a pinch. Perfect for Philmont.

When compared to Columbia, The North Face, and other high end competitors this price was great. Used it for walking around Vancouver, BC with its occasional downpours. It did a great job of using breathable fabric, and I didn’t feel like I would get sweaty just by wearing it. Its rain resistance was good, not great, and I suspect under heavy rains the hood might start getting damp, out in the normal rains we saw that didn’t occur.A good value!

It is not the best rain jacket, but for the weight and price, it can't be beat. I had my other Marmot pre-cip for over 15 years before the lining started to wear out. I carried it for thousands of miles in my daypack and backpack. I used it for protection against rain and wind as well as my ground cover for lunch breaks. I beat the crap out of this thing but it kept going. You can spend more than twice as much to get a warmer, more water proof jacket, and for some regions, like Mount Ranier, that is a good idea, but this one is a great general purpose rain jacket that sheds water and breathes well.

Unlike all the other rain jackets I looked at, this jacket is just like my old jacket where the rain hood folds under the collar, and does not hang out on my back, Looks so much better and the company sent it very quick in shipping.

So lightweight! I have taken it on my hikes and I can easily take it off, fold and put away. Well made and the color is so fantastic.

pra quem conhece a marmot não preciso falar nada e pra quem não conhece pode comprar de olhos fechados.

Can these cats make this jacket any thinner? Nope. It’s a garbage bag but not a cheap garbage bag. Don’t buy.

Presa in offerta è proprio un grande affare. Leggera, impermeabile, ben fatta. Si richiude nella sua tasca e quindi è comoda da portare nello zaino da trekking. Non so ancora dire molto sulla traspirabilità perché devo ancora testarla bene, ma non mi sembra promettere un granché. D'altra parte non è la sua funziona primaria, e le aperture laterali comunque possono aiutare.

Esta es la tecera dhaqueta precip que tengo asi que hablo desde la experiencia de llevar gastando este producto muchos años,llevo una en mi mochila de ruta de fin de semana junto con los pantalones del mismo tejido,hace bien poco me pillo una buena jarreada por el monte y me puse el traje completo,este se porto muy bien para el precio que tiene,no es tan impermeable como un gore paclite pero le da mil vueltas en compresibilidad,el tejido de marmot es muy docil y hace que recogerlo en su propio bolsillo sea coser y cantar,uno de los bosillos tiene doble cremallera y en el se recoje,los otros dos que tengo son negros asi que cuando vi este con estos colores y en oferta no lo dude,siempre viene bien un impermeable en cualquier sitio

Toll, wie leicht sie ist - und wie klein man sie zusammenpacken kann. Wenn man allerdings mal in einen kräftigen Schauer kommt, so merkt man dann leider doch schnell, dass noch teurere Regendichte Jacken ihre Daseinsberechtigung haben. Aber vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis her ist diese Jacke toll.
