Yes, this order met with my approval. It’s always very handy to have this when working in the garden. It gives your soil and flowers quite a little boost.

The product was excellent, but the packaging was horrible. They put two bags of dirt in a big box with several other items I had ordered including supplements. They should have known that loosly packing soil in a big box would result in the bags being banged around in shipping/transport, possibly bursting them, which it did. I had dirt all over my other items including my medicines. I was appalled upon fully opening the box which was busting at its seems and leaking dirt already.

This is my first time gardening without any assistance from my dad (who has a green thumb). After planing my seeds, I topped the plants off with this. Some pots I did without the castings, others I did with. I could easily see a difference between the plants with vs. without the castings. The pots with the castings, grew more, I had a larger harvest, and the plants overall condition was healthier. I applied a little to the top and watered like usual. Very easy to use. Did not smell like poop like I thought it would have. Super happy with this product. A little goes a long way and a bag will last you a while.

I use this every year for my repots and I mix it into the soil before repotting. I can tell a difference in my plants and I think it works better than liquid fertilizer so every time I water, the casting provide the nutrients. You are less likely to fry your plant with castings.

Super fine texture with no chunks or bits of foreign substances. Not only nourishes plants, but the fine texture helps with the consistency of the medium when I up pot my seed starts into larger cels or small pots. When this product was temporarily sold out at Amazon a couple of months back, I picked up a bag of worm castings from a big box store, despite having misgivings. That purchase showed me, in contrast, what I don’t want in a bag labelled worm castings. It was coarse, there were little sticks, and there were several several little seedling filaments growing in the bag. (Yes, I returned the bad brand.) I was thrilled to find the Vermont Castings back in stock here before long and purchased a bag of a product I know I can trust.
