Very thin for diameter, strong, supple, and abrasion resistant. It has everything a good monofilament is supposed to have. The price is fantastic. I got the 8 pound test because it is the same low diameter as most companies 4 pound line. I use it for ultralight fishing and it works great. Yellow color looks cool too. Definitely recommended.

Replacing line in reconditioned reels and placed on rods that I donate to children and Veterans.

I got two spools of this line. First one I bought in Novemberish last year. Bought to spool my sisters first ever baitcaster and I used the 15lbs test.I love kastking products! Been purchasing their brand when they first started, as a “budget friendly” brand because I was tired of the expensive name brands.With that said the 15lbs test was thinner than I expected! Way thinner! I figured, whatever, it’s not for me - and I trust kastking anyway.. my sister loves the entire setup I bought her for Christmas, with NO complaints on the mono line. Same with my fishing buddy. He lures a lot and prefers 12lbs mono anyway and being that it’s 15lbs and thin like a 10lbs line!? Ok cool. So far he’s caught halibut and Striper, as well as perch on that 15lbs line. Great!Back to me. I bought 20lbs because I had 25lbs on the reel and it really doesn’t give me much line left on the spool after casting deep! So 20lbs is on the spool you see in the pic. I went with orange (high visibility) because it’s my bait pole - shiner perch, surf perch, rock fish lingcod and upward.. now that I see how thin the line is and how much I actually spooled, I’m thinking I can lure with this… 🤔 I will update later.Will it hold up? Is it strong? Is it durable? Time will tell.

I was looking for some "high visibility" fishing line to use in our fishing class to teach kids how to use a fishing pole and rod& reel. It's kids... so I wanted quantity at a low price. Perfect. The line is strong and works exactly as I needed it to. Great Price, just what I was looking for.

I like the fact that it was a whole lot of line for a cheap price but that should have alerted a red flag to me cuz normally I pay better attention today so it's pretty much my own fault for buying this junk because out of four bites that I got today all four bites never landed a fish cuz the line broke right off and I'm still amazed it just how cheap of impact resistant quality this stuff is cuz I didn't really even get a chance to feel the fish I can see him run with it but tonight it break right off and I'm 50 years old I've been fishing all my life and this time of year I fish at least once if not twice a day so I would consider myself a seasoned fisherman especially when it comes to bass fishing but I can tell you what it'll be a cold day in a South Carolina summer before I ever use that fishing line again I won't even give that away from somebody that's just going straight into trash if that's all it is in the garbage

This line seems to be a fresh stock. It is a very good quality!

Just with the 8 LB test I was able to bring in a snapping turtle with ease!The line goes through the runners like silk and the blue color makes easy camouflage form the fish. This IS a great product for an everyday fisher. Only dislike was it's hard to open had to be careful not to cut too deep to get the plastic off.

Bought as I budget purchase but turned out to be a great line. Will be using again

It looks good and it is low memory casts well and is strong and resistant i use this for mackerel and planning on using it for salmon sometime
